Just popping in at the last minute to wish everyone a wonderful trip! I didn't get a chance to pm back earlier with my phone number which probably wouldn't matter anyway because I am pretty sure we will not be home most of the weekend. Also, I am so set back in the stone age that I do not even have my cell phone set up for texting. Still, I wanted to send a thanks for offering to include me. I'll just have to grab me a Hershey bar and think of ya'll this weekend. Everyone be safe, have a great time and don't get into too much trouble!

It's not going to be bright red....yet. Though once this little bit of dye comes out, I'm going to bleach it and dye it bright red. I feel like I'm reliving the childhood that my parents were to strict to let me have.

Gotta get to bed. We have to dye DS's hair in the morning.

I cannot believe I am! I woke up around 5:30...glanced at the clock and fell back to sleep...alarm off at 7:30 so jumped up but not moving too fast.

Got a note from DD. She is having a great time, making friends, doing alot of swimming. Oh, and she wrote "PS please send me a dress for the prom"!!!! Apparently they have a dance the last night of each session, and they call it the prom. So I am sending her her new sundress, along with the bra she needs to wear with it.

I absolutely cannot believe my DD asked for a DRESS!!!! Maybe she is starting to figure out that she is a girl?

BTW, I'm packed!!! Just have to pick up the burgers tomorrow.

I checked the age of your DD...the fun has just begun.
Also enjoyed the swimsuit article..I think I have just plan given up on finding one that fits. Just too cheap to get one custom made.

I hope everyone did get enough sleep to arrive at Hersey in one piece.

I need to get packing so I'll talk to you later today. We won't be leaving until 2:30 because we can't drop our dog off at my stepbro's house until 2pm.

Ok people! Why hasn't anyone checked in? Too busy stuffing their faces with smores and booze I guess.

I went and visited my "Beana" this afternoon and she is looking well. My Mom (Sukie) was with me and told me after we left that she was looking way better then when my Mom had visited a couple of days ago. I gave Beana a big before we left.

Mom and I went shopping today and I found lots of stuff to spend my money on. I got the kids some items off the clearance rack for school, got DH some pants that were on sale at JCP and picked up a new pair of Teva Mush flip-flops for me. I LOVE FLIP-FLOPS! We had lunch at Ruby Tuesdays which was very yummy.

DH is taking the boys to Hampton Beach tomorrow. The beach is located on the coast of NH so they will have lots of cold ocean waves to play in. You may be asking yourself why I'm not going with them but I'll tell you I'm very happy to be staying home with peace and quiet. I plan on lounging around drinking tea, eating crumpets and watching whatever I want to on TV. Heck, I may even get really wild and sit on the front porch with a book and a Diet Soda.

I can't wait to hear all about the Hershey trip so I hope everyone is taking notes and lots of pictures to share.

Well, I'm home all tired from today. Can only hope I make it through Hershey Park tomorrow. sorry but I'm way too tired to figure out how to upload from my new camera. Plus I have a slowski system to upload to Photobucket anyway.
I'll tell you something though...we have some terrific friends here. I felt like I've known them forever. It was like we already had met.
I met Whgrn at her hotel and we did lunch and went to the outlets. MagiKitty called and she met us at Indian Echo Caverns. That was great. I hadn't been since 4th grade. We had to walk down 72 steps to get to the entrance. It was a little harder to walk up the 72 steps though. It was funny when our guide said someone said when they walked in that it was like Disney World!
I won't tell all about it so others have a chance. Our picnic was lots of fun. We were at Racers place. Her DH grilled and I must say that a good time was had by all. D&D's youngest gave Kitty lots of President facts. Her other ds was very friendly too---gave us a hug when we left. I had already met Racers kids last summer and her youngest was still my buddy. She can't wait to go on the chocolate ride but also said she was doing the big pirate ship this year.
So we're meeting up tomorrow for HP. Sorry we did not get anyone called but it got dark and we had to get cleaned up and out of there. They have a curfew for visitors.
Don't let our thread die now...
BTW---I think Kitty likes the smores. Did you know they sell the Honey Grahams in squares too---I've only ever seen the rectangles.

Thanks for checking in M&N.
Don't worry about not calling. My evening got complicated and I probably wouldn't have been able to text long anyway. We spent our evening helping a friend pick green beans and then she fixed us dinner. After dinner I helped her get her house in order because some friends of both of us were coming in from Texas and staying with her. She is 72 and was pretty tired. Glad me, DH, and DD were able to help her out.

Have a great time at the park today everyone. I'm off to a family reunion. I'll eat a Hershey bar today in honor of everyone.

Oh, and I also bought a Peppermint Patty in honor of Wghn.
