I'm looking forward to DWTS too. I read where one person can't be bothered to rehearse. They walked out. I don't remember who it was. I think Donnie wants to do better than Marie.

This is the first year I watched Hells Kitchen. I can't get the yelling thing on that too. I would be so upset I could not do a thing. Some of them just like to put the others down all the time.

I guess you can tell I am a peacemaker type. I don't have any brothers or sisters to fight with. I cannot see that yelling brings out the best in people. That seems to be all some people know how to behave. I guess I hang out in this thread because of all the kind people who came here for a little voice. I'm glad you felt at home here too and stayed around.

All of you have been so nice here. I've mostly hung out on the DCL board and the Family Board. I live the Theme Park board for all the pictures and to offer a little advice if I can about traveling with a larger family.

I like Chef Ramsey but think he is a much more reasonable person on his shows that are on the BBC. Sometimes I think he ups the yelling factor on the American shows because it takes more to shock us.

Any clues as to can't be bothered to rehearse? I love that kind of gossip. LOL

I have one brother. And also 3 step-brothers and a step-sister from when my dad remarried last year. It was kind of strange to have this huge family after it just being my brother and me for so lone. Thankfully, we all get along.

I've been trying to find out who was blowing rehearsals but cannot...it was in the welcome window one day on AOL when I get on. Sorry. Maybe it'll show up sometime!

My mom has a large family and I know I can count on several of my aunts and cousins for help even though they live in VA and NC.

Good morning...Cloudy and dreary here this am. I guess it's raining some. I need to get to exercise this am. I was bad yesterday and skipped. I did do the dreaded 'underwear drawer' yesterday. Had to see if I had enough smaller size for vacation next month...going to outlet tomorrow! I seem to have more the next size down...I was probably in denial for the size I need now! Or maybe I just didn't stay that size very long...

I'll start the cruise portion tomorrow. BTW the two screen method is so much easier. Thank you to who ever told us about it. You would think I would have remembered this from my computer classes.
We had a bad storm on Weds evening. It looked like those hurricane pictures they show on the news. Luckily it didn't last too long. Some flooding nearby but we are fine.

Hey D&D, thank you so much for the card and gift. I did get it a few days ago, sorry I did not come on and thank you sooner, Walter seems to be having a bit of an upset tummy the last few days. He isn't burping well, so it keeps coming out the other end, however it seems to be hurting my little man allot!

OMG...Absolutely adorable LITC!!!!

My son had a very upset tummy too when he was that age. Found out he was having trouble digesting. Had to get him some soy formula and that seemed to help. Hope Walter feels better soon.

Baby Walter is so precious! I miss the baby stage so much.

The kids and DH are watching the Pink Panther 2. I've already heard a few laughs from the living room so it must have some funny parts.

Hey JOCAmom, I like Hell's Kitchen too! That Chef Ramsey is HOT and I get such a kick out of how self important most of the "little" chefs act. The one thing about the show that bothers me is all the smoking that the chefs do. How good is thier sense of taste when their mouth must taste like an ashtray?


I had to sub today for the Art teacher. I had 4 4th grade classes and 1 Kindergarten class. The 4th graders have smart mouths and the Kinders don't know the rules yet! No, it wasn't that bad. I had to write a note for the Art teacher about two 4th grade students who were rude but the Kinders were OK. Boisterous but OK. It's funny but I just looked up the defination of "boisterous" and it means "Loud, noisy, and lacking in restraint or discipline". In that case, only a few of the Kinders were boisterous and the others were OK.

Pikester, do you find this season of Hell's Kitchen to be as good as other seasons? I just can't seem to get into it for some reason. Do you have any favorites so far. I like Dave and Kevin. And Robert totally annoyed me this season. Glad he is gone.

Hi JOCAmom! From the men's side I like Dave and Kevin too. From the ladies side I really liked Sabrina but she's been tanking and I also like Ariel. Don't even get me started about Robert! That whole thing was just a waste.

I just about hurled when Andy sliced his fingers!

I like those 2 ladies as well. I cannot stand Suzanne. She really comes across as a know it all b-word who really doesn't know it all. She reminds me of Andrea from last season a lot. I didn't like her either even though she was the local girl.
