Don't worry M&N. I won't post too much this weekend so you can keep up. ;):lmao:

Have a good weekend with Mom M&N!

Hey D&D, you really need to come over to my house and wash my van too.

Hey Magi, saw Shaun White on Oprah.

Hi DL55! Thanks for stopping by my TR.

Pikester, I showed that thread to DD13. Almost had swear word slip out of her mouth when she read it. Zero tolerance rules are stupid. They leave no room for common sense. DD13's last school had that for type of rule for all medicines. She could not even take cough drops to school and keep them in her purse. They had to be in the nurses office with a note from the parent. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Thanks for all your prayers and good wishes. They worked! Dad called this morning from the dialysis center and everything was going perfectly! He even lost 3 pounds from the fluid they took off. He sounds so much better today. I know I felt like someone had lifted an anchor off my chest! He called while I was at work so I couldn't really talk much, but I called him after and you could hear the smile right through the phone. I know I will sleep better tonite. Some of my parents' friends have alot of connections, and they are getting the word out that he needs a kidney. Hopefully it will happen, and soon.

You are asking the wrong person that question. :rotfl2: I swear it happens at least once a week here. On those day, don't even look at me the wrong way or I'm libel to bite your head off.

Now that I think about, I think I have whole weeks like that.

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: That pretty well describes me ALL the time!

Today it was in the 40s. Almost tropical!:rotfl2: We did get some snow melt, which was great. The weather forecast for next week shows a chance of snow showers every day, but also some rain, so I'm hoping to see even more of it disappear. This winter has been just miserable. I will be SO glad to see Spring arrive!

Well, I'm off to bed--it was an early morning. Y'all don't talk too much now!

Same goes at our schools.

More can't hurt.

I know when I was in school, I carried all kinds of medicines in my purse. Tylenol, cold pills, Midol, etc. Nobody questioned anything. I just find it so odd that we are suppose to be preparing kids to be adults and make good decisions and yet the schools won't even let kids have cough drops.

That just calls for a big ol' group hug :grouphug::grouphug: or 2. I'll keep praying that a kidney is found for him.

I carried some of that stuff too. I think the rules changed once it became common for kids to get precription meds for just about anything and started sharing with friends.

I can understand prescription meds. But there is no common sense anymore. You can also blame the parents who didn't question why they were refilling their kids prescriptions more often.

Won't be on for much longer. I'm going shopping with Sukie tomorrow so I need to head to bed soon.

I guess everyone else is watching the Olympics.

I'm trying to talk DD13 into taking the ghost tour with us. She gets freaked easily and I am evil enough to try and scare her even more. (isn't there a smilie with devil horns here?)

I hope you and Sukie have fun tomorrow. Tell her I said Hi and give her one of these from me

I haven't done to much more research into the Ghost Tour. I hope that DD13 will come so she can hang out with us girls.

I think I've said this before but DH plans on staying back at the hotel with the boys or even taking them to Hershey for the 3 hours that they are allowed on the ticket. I hope M&N or Magi has room in their car for all of us as I don't drive.

I have no clue what DH plans on doing while we go on the ghost tour. I imagine that he will just stay at the hotel and let the kids play golf and swim.

I don't drive either. But if it comes down to it, either one of them could drive our van. Heck, it might be easier to have one or 2 cars instead of everyone driving there.

Yea right!!! I'll be right over.

That looks more like a sexy smiley than an evil one.
