They probably just throw JO's packages at her! :lmao:

They did not do that! But he did drop the package on the back porch, quick knock and run off. You don't suppose it was the beer in my hand and crazy look in my eyes?

When four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the Pre-Christmas pressure.

Then Mrs. Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.

When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, Heaven knows where.

Then when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were scattered.

Frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drunk all the cider and hidden the liquor.. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.

Just then the doorbell rang, and an irritated Santa marched to the door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas tree.

The angel said very cheerfully, 'Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't this a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?'

And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.

Not a lot of people know this.

Free wifi at the hospital! :cool1: DH had his dad bring up the netbook so I would have something to do. We can't leave until Friday. Thank you all so much for your congratulations!!!

I know she came a day early, but I think 8 is her number, born on the 8th of Dec, she's the 8th member of our family, and she was born at 8:28am.

JO, sorry to hear about your son. I'm dreading the teenage years. to you.

M&N, Love your Christmas story!

M&N, everytime I see an angel on top of a tree now, I'm going to think of your story. :lmao:

Kerrie, sorry I spilled your news. I was just so excited and didn't know when you would get a chance to get over here.

Congrats again.

hey there new mama! How's the little one? Does she have hair? Did you deliver right away?

Hey Kerrie....

OK we're not demanding Aunties or anything but we'll need a pic of the little angel.

Hope everything went OK and you're feeling good...well as good as one can under the circumstances!!

I went to mail some packages today. Usually UPS gives me the best rates. Not today! I was mailing a fancy pento my cousin in Ontario...they wanted to charge me $60 for it! I had the cashier repeat it. Twice. I couldn't believe it. She even told me to try the post office. For $60 I could buy the pen a bus ticket to Canada!

I went to the post office next. I was prepared mentally for outrageous costs. And guess what? $2.10 to send. I had Ms. Post Office repeat that. Twice. Then before she changed her mind I paid for it and left!

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: You are tooooo funny Kitty! But what an insane price!

M&N I'm glad I put my drink down BEFORE I read your story!:rotfl::rotfl2::lmao:

Going to have to post and run today but;

Ladies
I have a question to pose to the collective. I know how "they" on the Dis feel about using medical reasons for line jumping so I am afraid to even ask about anything like that.

Yesterday when I was at MDA my MedOnc was checking me over.

I have a serious issue with my feet.
I have neuropathy in my feet from my chemo.
Even socks blister the skin on my feet and a it hurts like hell to walk. I have bought tons of shoes but can't wear any of them for more that an hour or so.

She said she wanted me to use a wheelchair :sad1:

An infection from the blistering or the blistering I am getting around the cuticles could cause me have my toenails removed or worse(although I don't know what could be worse)

She wrote me a letter to take on the plane and for the parks.
BTW-My doctors ALL seem to be Disney nuts.:rotfl:

I know that SO MANY people use them to jump lines and while I feel fine otherwise, I don't know how to use it if I needed and I don't want to deal with the attitude-----people look at you funny and act like you are faking it.

Pleast give any and all advice.

My nephew is now 8 and has had to use the GAC card for his last 2 or 3 trips,he has a very rare brain disorder and I don't think we have ever had a problem anywhere at Disney using it.I say get the card and chair. Vacation is not a time to feel awful.

Congrats to our new TK baby and her family! Walter is no longer the newest TK baby. :):sad1:

And in case I don't make it back on a very happy bday tomorrow to Kitty and Ev!

Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday dear Ev and Kitty
Happy Birthday to you!

Hope you both have a wonderful day and a blessed year!

Happy birthday to you Ev on this wonderful, cold day. Too bad we couldn't have joined Donny and celebrate. He opened on Broadway in a show with Maria. I'm sure he could have hugged us!

Thank you all for all the wonderful wishes. I feel so blessed by having all of you in my life!
