TKers...8 is NOT enough!

Yes, the joke. I'll have to show that one to Curt.

The bumping of an old thread was probably someone looking for enough posts to send a pm.

Yeah but why make it from a post from 2009? I can bump new posts a lot easier!

Were the kids surprised to see dh this am?

They bump the old posts because they are dumb. They also could be looking to spam the board with bad links. Or just being a troll. Who knows.

We told the kids last night when he was close enough not to turn around. Livvie was practically screaming into the phone. And since he was home this morning, Alexis and Olivia popped right out of bed. Now if all mornings could be that easy.

If he were home all the time, they would get used to it and not be so energetic.

I saw that McDonalds had their flag at half staff today. WHY? I didn't remember them doing it for Pearl Harbor before?

I don't remember McDonald's doing that any other year either.

Did you see Elizabeth Edwards passed away today? She seemed to be such a class act in light of everything she went through.

Yes--I did admire her---except for her choice in husband! I think he was there. I guess anyone can make a mistake! I certainly pray a cure is found.

Well, we all make mistakes. And the fact that she "let" him be there during this time just speaks to her character. She knew it would make it easier for her children. And I admire that greatly. Don't know if I could have that much grace and be able to sacrifice that much of me.

I know I do not take rejection well. One of the many reasons I am not married! :rotfl:

Better get my beauty sleep---I have no fake lashes to wear tomorrow to get my hair cut!

Think warm thoughts...

I'll be thinking of palm trees swaying in a warm breeze with a fruity drink in my hand.

Night M

Morning....ahhh palm trees. The sun has suddenly come out here so it looks like a winter wonderland...very beautiful. I'm sure it will start snowing again in a couple.

OK Kerrie...make sure little Victoria knows tomorrow is the day!!:rotfl:

Got my happy birthday from DIS last night!!...think I should email them and tell them they missed it by 2 days!!

I'm heading out to lunch with the girls today...I few of them plan on going shopping tomorrow...good luck with that...right now the highways north & south are closed!!

Good morning ladies! Its bright and sunny out there, although its only 20-something (if only I were 20-something too....).

DirecTv cutie is coming tomorrow! Very excited to see him. Still haven't cleaned up though. Still have to put on my lashes.

Ev, you get birthday greeting from the DIS? I'm so jealous!

Kerrie and JO--sounds like you have good men there. They work so hard for your families.

Just one more day Victoria!

They're having a doll sale on Saturday. Its a sign! My friend can't come up from Maryland, so I'm contemplating venturing there on my own. The weather seems to be cooperating also. Luckily, I like the dolls that no one else seems to (recurring theme in my life, I think it had to do with Corduroy being my favorite book as a child) so I should be lucky. I'd like to get some more of the Pirates of the Caribbean, Miss Piggy, or the Harry Potter series. I think I have all of the Gone with the Winds. The wallet is scared! But if I can get a $250 doll ofor $40, then why not? If I don't get anything, there's a good Italian bakery around the corner, so the trip won't be a loss...

Elizabeth Edwards was truly a classy lady. What a legacy to leave to her children. And now she's reunited with her older son, which should give her family comfort. I do wonder how the family dynamic will be now though.

Yeah...too bad it wasn't actually on my birthday!!!

Spent the morning goofing off visiting my friend's new grandson...one of the 3 babies that missed Dec 9th!!! Oh well there's always hope for Victoria...eat some spicy food for dinner Kerrie!!

Off to lunch with the ladies.

Afternoon,

I have to say that last night, when I found out Elizabeth Edwards had died, my eyes welled up with tears. :sad1: She was such a class act!

Bopsmom
- I would definitely use the wheelchair at WDW. You stay off those feet as much as possible. If anyone says anything or gives you dirty looks, just tell them you'll trade them your cancer for their healthy legs/feet. Do whatever you have to do to have a great time and worry about NOTHING!!!

D&D---I think you need to change your siggie to---
7.gif
and a bottle of rum!
That's what I think when I see it! :rotfl:

Kerrie, I'm going to apologize now but I just have to share your good news.

Kerrie had Victoria at 8:28 this morning. She is 7lbs 3oz and 19 3/4 inches.

Congrats Kerrie!!!!

LOL, I had the same thought over on FB--should I post it? Or let her do it? glad you went for it Jo!

Bopsmom, ABSOLUTELY use a chair at WDW. i've done it the past several trips and it makes all the difference in the world. In my case, my knees would not have held out, in your case, your energy would not. Think about it--a healthy person with no mobility issues will be wiped out at the end of a day hiking through Disney. Throw in energy sapping chemo or other health issues, and it's not realistic to expect that from a person.

If anyone looks at you funny, just smile! But do be prepared to feel invisible. People will walk in front of you like you aren't even there. If they really tick you off, just run them down!!!:rotfl:

Welcome to the world Victoria! Congrats to the newest member of your family, Kerrie, and ours! This is our third baby, right? But the first girl!
