oh yeah! Congrats Walter on the discovery of yummy milkshakes!

Mostly packed. Pretty much the same dress in different colors and a sweater. Boring yet finished!

Haha, I think I am in trouble now that he has discovered sugar!

Well, time for a bottle. Might try to stop in later, if not good night everyone!

I'm watching the making of Xanadu. I really love this stinkin' movie.

Yeah, the little ones really love the Pooh characters, so Crystal Palace is a must do for your little ones. I'm glad we did it, ordinarily we don't mind the buffets. But for us, is was just too crazy and crowded in there. But it was a blast watching all the kids going ga-ga for the characters!

Don't forget in England, in the back of the toy store you can usually find the Pooh characters there too. We had a nice visit with them and it was nice to get a pic with all of them at once.

Oooo. I didn't know that about England Kitty! Cool! Thanks.

I'm excited to see the Flower Festival. We've never been there for that. (We've only gone twice as grown-ups - Once just us, and once with DS. This will be the first time w/ DS and BL. And, probably our last trip for awhile unfortunately. I won't really be able to pull DS out of school after this year, and I'm not sure I'm up for Disney during Peak season.) So, I'm excited. With how busy I've been, I haven't had time to plan like I did last time. I wanted to make sure to look at our park schedules and get our ADRs done, which I did. I'll have to research everything else slowly over the next few months.
I did read about the butterfly house though a little, and it sounds Awesome! :woohoo:

I didn't know that about England either, will have to make a note of it. Be sure you post some pics for us Light! When is your trip again?

Morning Ladies:

Late starting on the computer today...had to run out this a.m. and do a Magikitty...bought DD a DSi because it was 20x bonus day at the drug store...scored $50 towards something else! Today is the dog's birthday so DH & the kids went out and bought presents  The dog got a new bed, stuffed toy and new chew bone!! Better than I get on my birthday! They're now in the kitchen baking pb cookies...not sure what's gotten into DH lately...but I'm not complaining.

I'm watching the making of Xanadu. I really love this stinkin' movie.

I'm better sure I saw Xanadu way back when it came out but can't for the life of me remember any of it!!

Oooo. I didn't know that about England Kitty! Cool! Thanks.

Epcot is great for meeting the characters...we met up with Aurora in France...she was off to one side and no one noticed so DD talked to her for ages before another kid came along.

Believe me, if I ever come into a lot of money, we're going to Disney World! And we're going to stay in the Cinderella suite! Massages and facials for everyone!
Woo hoo...We're going to Disney!!!!:woohoo:

A bottle of what, RUM?
Great minds think alike. Same thought here.

Mere- I dont' know anything about the Moms panel. Sorry.

LITC - JO is right. If you ever need to vent c'mon over to the "bench". We'll help you feel better.

Okay...if anyone in my family asks, we're out of town this weekend and we're having a great time. ;) Had to get out of this goofy family bridal shower. Not a real fan of the "showers". Always corny.

afternoon ladies! Its a great fall day out there. The leaves are beginning to change, which is beautful yet saddening that summer is over.

Ev, you've never watched Xanadu????? Blasphemy! It was a B movie in the early 80s. All I have to say is roller skating and Olivia Newton-John. And Gene Kelly. Fabulous! There's an animated scene (don't ask) that was done by Don Bluth, of the Secret of NIMH! The music is infectious--mostly by ELO. There's a great cameo by the Tubes--they sang "she's a beauty", great 80s tune.

I think I have a mascara addiction. I've bought several in the last few weeks and now I can't stop putting it on! I'm beginning to look like Tammy Faye!

I won't tell anyone D...although if it ever comes to it, I expect you to be at my shower!

For anybody I didn't blab to yet, here's the plans so far! (Got the ADRs in last night.) Anything I missed or should think about?

Day 1 - Arrive, check in, go to DTD or hang out at the hotel (no flight booked yet, so I don't know how much time we have.)

Day 2 - Rope Drop at MK, and probably spend the whole day there. Lunch Res at Crystal Palace to meet Pooh and his pals. See Wishes that night.

Day 3 - Hit the EMH at MK then head over to HS for the rest of the day. Early dinner Res at SciFi Diner, then go see Fantasmic.

Day 4 - Epcot all Day. (Flowers! Whee!) Early dinner again - at the Biergarten in Germany to give us plenty of time to wander and find a good spot for Illuminations.

Day 5 - Tusker House Res for character breakfast at 9:30 (park opens at 9 and ressies start at 8:10, but we figured we'd all be tired after Illuminations, so we pushed it back.) Then AK until close. Dinner at Ohana's. Probably back to the hotel after that. I'm guessing the kids will be beat by now.

Day 6 - Breakfast at Chef Mickey's for more character fun. Let the kids ride the monorail after to wherever we decide to go. This is our last park day, so we're leaving it open to finish up whatever we didn't get to see... or even hang at the pool at the hotel a little depending on everyone's mood. MK has EMH until like 2am or something that night, so we can do it up our last night if we want, or take it easy.

Day 7 - Depending on flight time, wander hotel or just pack up and go. (Boo! I'm already sad about leaving...)

So total of 7 days (2 travel days with maybe some free time and 5 park days). 6 nights at POP. And, hopefully some yummy meals! I'm SO EXCITED!

That sounds like a great plan! And you got some great ressies! You'll have to let me know how Tusker House and Chef Mickey are. I'm tired just thinking of an entire day at the parks...but the boys will love it! I'm so excited for all of you!

I won't tell anyone D...although if it ever comes to it, I expect you to be at my shower!
Wild horses couldn't keep me away from your shower Kitty. :yay: I'd even play corny games like making a toilet paper dress for the bride.

Oh, I have to confess...I've never watched Xanadu either.:guilty:

Lighttech - your trip sounds so fun. We ate at Chef Mickey and it is one of our favorite. Especially for breakfast. If you get a real early ressie (7-7:30am) you can almost have the characters to yourself. We did. They even played out a mini skit for us.
DS12 (9 at the time) gave a kiss to Minnie when she came to our table. She signed to us not to tell Mickey cuz he would get jealous. So when Mickey came to our table DS8 (5 at the time) loudly proclaims to Mickey that Nick has been kissing Minnie. He pretented to get jealous and Goofy slapped his head with a napkin while Donald just laughed. It was so cute.
There was a big variety of food too. We thought it was very good. Kids especially liked the topping bar where they could eat gummybears for breakfast.

Kitty -- We ate at Tusker house the last time we were there, the trip we got to meet you. :lovestruc I was so so on it. I mean it was clean and well stocked and the food was all good temps, but they had some odd foods, and since I was pregnant at the time, I was very cautious on what I ate, especially foods I had never had before since I didn't want any pregnancy sickness to flare up on vacation. DH on the other hand really loved everything he ate there and wants to go back. I would go again.
