Besides, it's only a still a spoiler for a little while. We know from other threads that once things play on the East Coast it's OK to discuss freely.

It's amazing.. I signed onto my AOL and there it was in HUGE headlines.. the results from the skating... I was really confused.. I knew it was on tonight.. but yet.. there it was in black and white.. that blew it for me WAY before I came onto the DIS tonight..... Oh well... I guess I will still watch!

The entire US Olympic team has withdrawn from the remaining events. They are tired of the results being spoiled for all the readers on the Disboards and feel that this is the only way that they can stop it.

So, it appears that I made the right decision by not visiting the boards yeaterday - I knew someone would go and spoil it.

And I want to know who died and left SweetAngel and the others in charge? Just cuz it doesn't bother them, doesn't mean they have a right to judge the people who do care.

It's just a little community-board niceness that was being asked for. It's crystal-clear who the nice ones are around here.

Relax, it is only in jest. You are right, titles should contain spoiler warnings but it is not the end of the world. I found out the results simply by turning on the radio and I was not trying to find them. It happens, move on.

I left SweetAngel in charge, but only of the snack bar. There was a little confusion as to who was in charge of the spoiler threads yesterday. We weren't sure if that would be covered under security or miscellaneous. Imsorry was in charge of small woodland creatures, so if any of them made their way through the thread, you know who to blame.

Once again I saw lots of posts in a spoiler thread that were against the TOS, but not the OP itself.

I think I would give the people complaining about spoilers more credit if they were not so bad themselves. Look no further than any TV thread for tons of spoilers, that is if you live on the West Coast like me. Nobody seems to care if people spoil things for those of us with prime time three hours behind .
