Is the tip automatically charged on the dining plan? Also can you adjust it and give what you would like?
Thanks

It is not automatically charged, unless you are a party of 6 or more. You tip what you like and can charge it to your room or use cash.

The bill will have suggested amounts (I think 15,18,20%) but as long as you are less than six people you can tip what you like. Easiest is to charge it to the room and sort it later.

Be sure to consider that if you have a baby at the table she or he is counted as total people. It is not how many people eat, but how many people sit that goes into the head count for tips.

I did that at ESPN when we went as a group of a football game thing. I did miss that it was included because my fiend and I had our own check, but once I got back to my room...YIKES! That was one time I needed to remind myself to Let It Go!!!!!!!!!! LOL! Clearly, I have not...LOL!

If the tip is included for parties of 6 or more what do we do? We usually tip wish cash but have never gone with more than 5 people. All of our meals will be with large parties. If gratuity is included and we are on the Dining Plan does the tip just get added in and paid by the plans and we don't need to pay it? I don't want to cheat out a server thinking the plan was covering the tip....

No I don't mean that it's included in the dining plan, I mean it's automatically added to your bill for you to pay. No gratuities are covered by the dining plan. If you decide that the server isn't deserving of the charge they add, you can discuss with a manager to have it lowered. And of course you always have the option of adding more for exceptional service.

We travel as a party of 7. When the bill comes we use the DDP to pay the meals and get a bill for 18% which we can pay with cash, cc or magic band. It's very easy. You can add more if you want. I've never had a problem with tipping 18% but I'd assume you can speak to a manager if service was bad and you want to reduce it.

Thank you. I got confused reading previous posts. We always tip and I'm ok with gratuity being added.
