I'd be interested in seeing MSEP and the fireworks -- if the fireworks are anything like the Pirate and Princess ones, you will NOT be disappointed. The P&PP fireworks were some of the best fireworks ever!

I'm also really interested in seeing if you guys think MSEP and the fireworks are worth missing Spectro and Wishes. I really hope it is for both your sakes. I had no idea they were also adding a new sequence to ToT -- I'd be so excited for that!

Ok- Im here finally! Having you two become such agreat friends on the DIS and then plan to meet at Disney World- has proven my research project on the DIS to be even more true then I believed. YAY

I'm excited to follow along on this trip because 1. I've missed Xotenox because she left her TR right after I finally found her again. and I'll be happy to finally be back in the flow of things. 2. I'm excited to hear about the many things you do together and having 2 followed both of your TRs, I'm sure this one will be amazing and 3. I can't wait to hear about your first time meeting!!

Heck No! I'm doing both!
I'm going on a 4 day cruise from June 6th-10th for my sister's 40th Bday!
She has 2 lil ones and didn't want to leave them longer than that! Can you tell she don't get out often! I was all ready to go for at least a week!
but I couldn't convince her and it was her idea! lol! I had a shirt made up for her to wear one day on the cruise that says Kelli's 40th Birthday Cruise and the dates! It's carnival we're doing. I had her talked into Disney Cruise until she seen how much more affordable carnival was! Oh well better luck next time! I'm just glad I'm finally getting to go on my cruise!
Disney were doing again with the Free dining Bounceback offer we're doing 2 weeks there at POP in the newly refurbed rooms! Can't wait! We're doing HDDMR again with Tammy and Sidney and kids!

Where are you all staying this time? Renting points? Thats a silly question isn't it?I think I know that answer already.

I really wish I could go over the summer just to see the new things. I think it's really cool that Tink is in the parade! I was so excited to see her in the Pirate and Princess Parade.

I for one, am majorly bummed it will only run (at least that's what it says) until Aug. 14th. My trip isn't until Sept. 2nd, and I'm so, so sad!!!


It was staple of my childhood and the music still makes me cry. maybe they will extend "due to popularity".

Awww have you ever been on a cruise? Honestly, you will love Carnival just as much as you would love DCL and save a butt load of money!! We aren't renting points this time because it's very expensive to rent them over the summer so we're also staying in Pop, hopefully in the refurbed rooms too!!

I'm so glad I just found this PTR! I love all trip reports but I especially love reading the ones with young couples my age because it gives me ideas of new things we may like. Me and my fiance took our first trip together back in November. It's going to be so much fun for all of y'all to experience it together! I also think it's great that y'alls first meeting will be in Disney World since that is how y'alls friendship began!

OH! that's cool staying at Pop have you ever stayed there? I love it there even after being at deluxe it's just the atmosphere! From what I hear they are working on Buildings 6 and 9 right now with the refurb! On another thread the person was given rm#9330 of course in the 90's and it was a refurbed room! No reports of anyone staying in a refurbed in any other section yet! You could always requuest refurbed room if location doesn't matter or refurbed room section ...

Thats so cool and so true too. I joined the DIS for help planning my Disney trip that we were supposed to go on in 2008 and then made lots of great friends that I've stuck around

Heyyy and welcome!! Thanks for joining in! I love reading TRs from young people too because I feel like I can relate to them and definitely get good ideas from them too. We're soooo soo happy to get to meet in WDW we're dying of excitement!

I never did reveal what happened! I'll just say it now since I'm not finishing that TR...we got picked to take a Wishes cruise in the lagoon! We were on the Poly beach with lauren_elizabeth and her son and a CM walked up to us and asked us if it was anyone's birthday and it happened that we were celebrating Chris' birthday. So we said yes and like 3 mins later the CM came back and took us out on the lagoon and we watched Holiday Wishes from out there. It was amazing and great and we all loved it so much! Nothing like that ever happens to us so that made it even better. I think that Wishes cruise is really like $250!

We have never stayed at Pop but I know all the rooms in the 70s section are refurbed! There's pictures on allears.net.

We've read that they'll all be finished by summer, but we're hoping to get lucky and get a 'new' room, no matter what section, on the Mother's Day trip.

I'm pretty sure everyone on here is also following tinkgurl on her spring break PTR but either way, her and her fiance are on their way to WDW right now!! They left about 2 hours ago (or were supposed to, I haven't talked to her yet) and are stopping tonight in Chatanooga, TN. So lucky!! I'll have some live updates from her as the week goes on

Yeah, we're going for a week in December. Jake asks me every single day when we're going back. Like this morning, he woke up and told me he was gunna go on Pirates today. December seems to work out the best for me with work and paid time off, plus Christmas at Disney is my favorite. We rented DVC points, too!!!! So excited about that.

Although.. July is tempting!
