Time to get scrapping again

I started scrapping our June 2006 trip in August, but then I got preoccupied with altering Rolodex cards and the holidays. I finished a page for Cinderellabration and two of lunch at Crystal Palace and had a nearly complete pair of pages of Pop Century.

I had high hopes to get more pages worked on over my Christmas vacation, but it never came to be. I finally bought an alphabet to use in my Sidekick yesterday, so I was able to put the finishing touches (a title) on the Pop Century pages. I even completed a little bit of journaling tonight for those, so I feel like I can move on to something new.

I think I'm going to do two pages of the castle. I pulled those photos together, they just need to be cropped and laid out. I thought about ordering new prints in other sizes (already zoomed and cropped), but then I don't know what I'd do with those I have already printed (not altered). I hate to spend more money on photos.

I also pulled together our pics from Chef Mickey's. I haven't decided what I'm doing with those - except i think I might want to use the Sizzix ticket die to make a border.

I know the feeling. I did a gift album in November, completed some half finished pages in the beginning of December, and then totally dropped the ball. But I HAVE to finish a birthday album for my SIL by mid-February, so I guess I will have some pressure to be sure I am scrapping in January. I also had a self-imposed goal to finish our 2004 WDW trip before 2006 ended.... I failed. And I am SO CLOSE. But I just couldn't find the scrapping time in December. Oh well....................P

I'm determined to get scrappin' in 2007, too! I'll do really well for a while, and then just not do any at all. Come on over and join the January 2007 Scrapbooking Challenge, if you want to--if you're scrappin', you can count up those pages!

My New Year's Resolution is to get caught up on my scrapping (like that could ever happen!). I am making progress though, I got 8 pages and some work done for a swap done yesterday!

I have been working on gift albums and autograph books for friends who are arriving at WDW today. I need to finish the gift albums (some people celebrate Jan 6th for gifts, luckily!) and then start on our WDW albums.

I am doing an album of just Christmas decorations at WDW. I took a ton of photos and bought the Disney Xmas album just for that. That should take me a month, or more.

Good luck getting more pages done! I like to use a large title when I don't have a lot of pictures to use.

I really need to get moving on my March '06 pictures since I have like 60 layouts to do and we are going back this April!
