Juliana did awesome today at her scans & appointment. After her check-up with the doctor, she told us she was going to sit by herself for the bloodwork. Mel and I looked at each other.
When her nurse came in, Juliana jumped onto Mel's lap. This is nothing new... we thought- here we go again. But she sat there still and let the nurses draw her blood without screaming, fighting, kicking, or crying. She watched them and did a great job. We were so impressed with her. Even her nurse said how impressed she was. Her nurse said when she sees us on the schedule she gets sad because she loves Juliana and has a hard time taking her blood.
We got a call later in the afternoon with results of clean scans and great counts! We are relieved! We have to see them again in 3 months then in August/September- then we are going to 6 month appointments.
We were also asked to be interviewed for a CCMC fundraiser which will be airing on a local radio station at the end of the month. We are supposed to go Wednesday morning but they are calling for up to a foot of snow here, so we might have to re-schedule.
