How long does it take to get to WDW if you have a rental car??? I'm asking because I will be on the Wonder 10/12-10/16 and my DS 6 is interested in doing the Pirate Cruise, but it starts at 10 am. So I am wondering if I have enough time to get from the Port to WDW, for the 10 am cruise. Janis

Ooooo, that's pushing it. I'd say by the time you get off the ship (assuming you're in the front of the line AND if the ship has not had any delays), get your luggage, get to the rental pick up across the street (assuming you're first in line there too), get to the rental office to pick up your car (assuming it's Avis which is closest to the port) - you're looking at leaving Port Canaveral around 9:00 a.m. Now assuming there is absolutely no traffic and you're traveling at an avg. 75 mph, you may just get to the GF parking lot by 9:45 which is the check-in time for the Pirate Cruise. It's quite risky. I know from experience (2 past pirate cruises) those boats don't wait. They start putting the life vests, the pirate handkerchiefs around their heads, and tagging them at 9:45 and they're loaded on the boat as soon as their 'tagged'. From the port to WDW is roughly 50 mins. with light traffic and going the speed limit.

Good morning Janis.

Forget a rental car. I think you'll need a rental helicopter...
