Tiffin’s had been on my maybe list, then off my list, then on my for sure list, and I am so glad we tried it. If your iffy, don’t be! We had the best lunch there today (pics to come when we get home).

It’s a beautiful restaurant and a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of AK.

DH had 2 amber ales and I tried Jenn’s Tattoo, Ketel One Vodka, Watermelon, Hibiscus, Lime Juice. It was a little sweet for my liking but delicious nonetheless less. I also had a Snow Leopard Salvation, Snow Leopard Vodka, Belle de Brillet Pear Liqueur, Mint, Lime Juice, Ginger Beer. Fabulous!

For an appetizer we shared the Charred Octopus, Romesco Sauce, Olive Tapenade, Chorizo, Squid Ink Aïoli. This was amazing! Like so so good.

We also shared the Peaches and Cream, Masumoto Peaches, Burrata Cheese, Heirloom Tomatoes, Peach-Maple Reduction, Salted-Pecan Brittle. I wasn’t sure how it would all work together and it was incredible.

Being that we planned to share an entree we also ordered an enhancement of The Gobi Manchurian, Crispy-fried Cauliflower, Manchurian Sauce, Green Onion. This was my least favorite of the dishes we tried but DH loved it. The cauliflower was prepared perfectly but I didn’t love the sauce. It reminded me a better tasting orange sauce that would go on Chinese orange chicken or beef. Good but I don’t love Chinese food.

We chose the Kamo Ramen entree, Duck Confit, Soft-poached Egg, Spiced Coconut Broth, Alba Mushrooms, Chili-Lime Cashew. Wow! Not a drop left. The flavors meshed so we’ll together.

And if all that wasn’t enough, we ended with a pressed pot of the Ethiopian blend coffee and Frangelico. For dessert we shared the dessert trio which included small dishes of the following:
Passion Fruit Tapioca Créme, Chocolate Crumble, Citrus Fru; Whipped Cheesecake
Amarula Panna Cotta, Sesame Crumbs, Espresso Sponge; and South American Chocolate Ganache
Caramelized Banana, Cocoa Nib Tuile. DH liked the cheesecake best, it’s deconstructed, and I loved the tapioca creme. The ganache was good but heavier than the other two and we both prefer a lighter tasting dessert.

Our server was Allen who was terrific! Gave us his honest opinion, or what appeared to be, on various menu items. I love a server who doesn’t just push what’s the most expensive.

Anyway, I will post pics but if you’re iffy on Tiffin's, try it. We were pleasantly surprised.

Awesome! Can't wait for my lunch. I noticed on the menu today a few new items, including Surf and Turf. Did you happen to get a look at it?

Looking forward to more of your reports. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Great review. Thank you. My next trip isn't a Signature type of vacation, but I'm working on planning a Christmas trip for 2019, and I may just have to put Tiffins on my list for that one.

Yes and Surf and Turf was there. I didn’t think to get a pic of the menu, darn! We might go back to AK before the trip is done and I’ll get a pic if we do. The menus are super cool looking, leather. Really neat.

We were one and done here. Dh had the ribeye, I had the grilled fish. They were both good, but not to the tune of way over $100 w/taxes/tip. We are not appetizer or dessert people, nor do we drink, or the total would have been much more, and this is for lunch!!!
Also, the portions are way small, and we were ready for snacks within an hour, and we are neither big eaters or sizes. Even at Disney prices, we expect more for our money.

I'll be on the DxDP so a small sized entree might actually be a blessing :-)

Bummer; we didn’t try either of those but that certainly stinks. We ate at 2:30; it’s 10:30 now and we just had a little snack; a couple slices from a charcuterie board we boxed up from California Grill. We were full for hours after but we did have a couple drinks and shared dessert. Neither of us found the portions small.

I wasn’t thrilled with the menu but I’m sooooo glad we tried it!

We have our first Tiffins reservation coming up this September. Can’t wait!

Enjoy! The restaurant is beautiful.

Thanks for the post! I'm thinking of booking this and you're making it very tempting. Smaller portions are not a problem - we have free dining (upgraded to TS so we'd be using 2). We did Cali Grill last summer and I'd like to try a new deluxe place - even tho it's so tempting to go back to the same ones!

We had such a wonderful meal there as well and are looking forward to going back in January. I am disappointed that the duck is now a ramen because it was amazing, but menus change all the time and maybe it will before then too.

We've been regularly dining here since it opened. Oh, I'd say we've had at least 15 meals. It's easily my #1 TS meal on property. We worried about it till they got Pandora finished, since it was just sitting there at that dead end for so long. It's been flourishing since though. Even had the fortune to attend a fabulous meal with Joe Rohde this past April and got to meet the head chef when he came out to discuss his menu for the night. I hope you were able to learn all about the decor used and the meaning of the various parts of the restaurant.
I've got 2 meals booked there on our trip later this month. Plus we always plan time to hang out in Nomad Lounge.
