Tiered FP+ Question

Hello, HS has tiered passes...

So, let's' say we have three passes...we use the first one and it is from our tier one group, we use the second one...and then for some reason don't want to do the third anymore...can we now rebook it as a tier 1? Or do we have to use another tier 2 first? Can we just let the tier 2 time pass on the third one and then get the opportunity to book another FP again???

You wouldn't be able to book one. After you've used all three of your pre-booked FPs or all three of their times have expired (whichever happens first), you can proceed to an in-park kiosk and book one FP for any attraction available, no tiers. But I think the chances of a headliner attraction being available at a kiosk is very slim.

Here's a booking trick that DOES work.

(Times listed as a reference. The times can be somewhat different.)
Epcot FP+:
Pre-book Soarin' 9:30-10:30AM
Pre-book Journey Into Imagination 10:30-11:30AM
Pre-book Spaceship Earth 11:30AM-12:30PM

Arrive at Epcot that day:
BEFORE walking into Soarin'...
CANCEL the FP+ for Journey Into Imagination
-and-
CANCEL the FP+ for Spaceship Earth
Ride Soarin' with FP+ (at, say, 9:40AM)

NOW, you can book ANY FP+ for any attraction (including at Epcot or anywhere) for your 4th FP+.
