Arts and Crafts **Tie Dye Mickey ears shirts directions**NEW NEW PICS LAST PAGE**

I didn't use printer, mine is for screen printing, is a liquid ink, comes in a jar/bottle. I paid $25.00 for the 8oz bottle I believe. But screen printing is not iron nor done with printer, sorry for the confusion. :lovestruc

Oh okay. Shucks lol I was hoping they made it for the printer. I would love to do screen printing. I see the commercials for the Yudu and want it so bad lol

Happy New Year!!

HELP PLEASE :confused3

After stalking this thread forever I finally made our shirts! But my Mickey heads did not turn out so hot. I bought a bleach pen to outline it, but I'm scared to use it- will it effect my other colors? After you do the outline do you wash it right away or do you wait for the bleach pen to dry?
thanks-

These shirts really come out awesome. We enjoyed wearing them on our trip to Disney!

Thankyou Pixiedust32!!!

here's my shirts:

Was the outlining easy? I have a bleach pen but I swear it wouldn't even get a stain out of a white shirt. I'm tackling this project today! Going to do a trial run on a couple of shirts.

I have one more question! I am doing 2 trial shirts today. The dharma site says I can use the soda ash until it is all gone. Can I save it? Just cover it and put it somewhere out of the way? What about the dyes? Do they need to be stored a certain way?

Yes, you can keep it in a bucket. As for the dye, I never had to keep it very long, I try to mix only the amount need it but you can keep it a bottle, room temperature. :confused3

Go Packers! Any packers/Mickey lovers can make these colors... I made this one for a Packers freak friend of mine.

Ok, I am finally posting pics of some of the various tie-dyes I have done over the past 6 (has it really been that long?) years.

Mickey Head--my 2nd set

Dinosaur--same principle as Mickey Head

Dinosaur--the original dinosaur, went back and made some for us big kids too!

Feathering--based on this technique anyway but was using the remaining colors from my first big batch of tie-dyes.

Will post more soon including guitars that I did for our May 2010 trip to commemorate our DS's first RnR coaster ride. Similar to the Mickey head but I free-handed the outline of the guitars.

Just wanted to post pictures of our finished shirts! I was so very happy and excited with how they turned out! There was another family/group there with shirts very similar to ours!
