I did a search and the results seemed mixed. Is bridging still a thing? I bought 10-day Magic Your Way tickets (military discount but not the SALUTE tickets). If I upgrade to an annual pass, do I get credit for the amount I paid for the tickets (which are discounted), or the value of the tickets? Debating if I should go to Guest Services to upgrade or just upgrade at Shades of Green where I could save on tax. Thank you!

No, military MYW tickets are not bridged because there is no equivalent “regular” ticket. You’ll get credit for the amount paid.

Bought our first Sorcerer Pass online today and immediately clicked on the park reservations link. Selected Annual Passholder w/Upcoming Resort Stay and made a park reservation for each day of our stay. So far, so good, right? The problem is my name is the only name listed on the reservations. I tried the Modify link hoping I could add names to my reservation, but it looked like I can only do this by making another separate reservation. Can someone please explain how this works? Thanks!

Hey was wondering if one still needed to enter the park to "lockin" the discounted price of 3rd party tickets before upgrading to annual pass. (Heard a few people having issues with undercover toursit tickets). I'm a little apprehensive leaving it to when we are there as we need reservations and it will be 4th of july week.

Should I just call and ask for the price to upgrade and call back (try again) if the number they give me is not close to gate price difference?

The credit will not be “gate price” — that bridging ended several years ago. You will receive credit for the price WDW sold the same ticket online when you bought from UT. That may or may not be what the ticket is currently selling for, if a price increase takes place between when you bought and when you upgrade.

We have Incredi-passes and park reservations at EPCOT on Saturday, Dec. 21st. Once we go to EPCOT, can we park-hop to Magic Kingdom (on a Saturday)?

I know the WDW website says we have to have a MK park reservation on weekends if MK is our first park of the day. I am just unclear if parkhopping is also excluded on Saturdays and Sundays if we have already visited our park reservation park first.

As long as you tap in at the park where you have a reservation, you can then hop to MK, even on Saturday and Sunday.

You will have 12 months to the day to activate the AP voucher. So if you buy today it must be activated by Dec.7, 2025 to activate it. On 12/8/25 you’d need to use it as a credit towards a new AP at then-current price.

I want to add, that I advise purchasing the voucher only 12 months before your expected LAST day at Disney of your first visit using the AP. Confusing I know. Let me explain, once you have a voucher you can do your park reservations, but you can’t do them past the expiration date of your voucher. So let’s say you are visiting December 1 to December 10 in 2025. If you buy your voucher on December 1st 2024 you can only do a park reservation for December 1st 2025. Once you arrive and activate your pass on December 1st you will be able to do,park reservations for December 2nd to December 10th.

If you buy your voucher on December 10th 2024, you can do park reservations for December 1st to December 10th 2025.
This will matter in December as some AP park reservations sell out. if you can’t do reservations for December 2nd to December 10th 2025 until you activate your AP on December 1st you could have problems with other things such as lightning lanes, restaurant bookings.

Yes your AP ticket holders are required to have a Park reservation for each park day. If you 2 guests with Park Hoppers are the newer date based tickets then they don't need Park reservations.

If you don't want to bother with making a Park reservation for your AP holders then you can only enter the parks at 2 PM or later.

This is addressing something I'm mulling over and want to be sure I have all the questions covered.

If you never, ever plan to visit any park before 2, is there any reason at all to even make a reservation?

If a park does have no reservations you simply need to make a reservation at any other park, tap in there, then hop to the park without reservations?
If the answers to those are both no, why exactly are they insisting to keep the park reservation system?
Doesn't both of those options more or less negate the need for reservations and also in turn, negate any real info they can glean from the data reservations give them? Yeah, I realize that no one here knows this answer just thinking out loud, so to speak.

And yes, I realize capacity closures are in play but, seriously, how much of an issue is that? I mean, look at the historical closure info, it simply doesn't happen even on NYE or Christmas Day or 4th of July. Maybe reached level 1 for a hot minute at MK but what about the other parks? To me, the odds of it happening are so small it's simply a non issue. Right?

I cant get reservations for saturday at any park. am I out of luck? what a stupid system-- i am paying for 2 beach club club level rooms and cant get reservations??!?

Keep trying. Are you actually trying or just looking at the calendar which shows no reservations? I donn't believe the calendar is updated is real-time, so sometimes you can catch a reservation if you try even though the calendar says none available.

It’s possible there will be openings open up. Lots are changing travel plans due to weather

Yes the system is asinine. With no reservation needed after 2 and hopping available all day advance reservations tell them nothing

Any chance you plan to stay at a WDW resort? Tickets bought as a package with a resort stay will be valid for the full length of stay.

Otherwise, you’ll either need to adjust your plans to group the WDW days closer, or buy separate 1-day tickets.

If I buy a 4 day base ticket from UCT, then decide partway thru my trip I want to add a 5th day, that's doable,right? I'm just not sure of what that would cost vs just buying the 5 day ticket upfront
