Ticket Question and Hopping

Hi.
Even though I have a six day ticket (two free days on a 4 day ticket from UT), I cannot
go to Epcot in morning use a day and then go to MK in afternoon and use a day. Is this correct?
I would need a hopper, correct?

That is correct.
You cannot use a 6 day, one park per day ticket to enter Epcot in the morning and MK in the afternoon.
If you want to park hop you add park hopper.
