Well, with all the rumors of ticket increases, I decided to order my tickets today thru paramount. Now I am confused.

After I submitted my order, they instructed me to print a voucher and letter of authorization that I must fax back to them along with a copy of my credit card. Since their office is close until Monday, and I don't have access to a fax until monday (I've never faxed anything in my life and don't even know where to go to do it), does this mean I will still get the current rates or will they decide to charge me more since my transaction isn't technically complete until Monday when they receive my fax and process my order (after the increase).

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I know that they can't charge me more than I agreed to, but if they decide not to sell to me at the current rate and I need to cancel my order, it wil be too late to purchase from somewhere else at the current rates.

OK, I think I'm rambling. If anyone has made any sense out of the post and has any info or thoughts, please post to calm my frantic nerves.

Debbie

I have never ordered through paramount, but will bump this up for you in case someone has that missed this! :)

I am curious to know if anyone knows for sure if Paramounts prices are going to go up, have gone up, or AREN'T going to go up? I need to know because if they haven't gone up yet- but will soon.... then I need to hurry up and buy the tickets now! But I'd prefer not to buy them for a month or so -so we won't be scrimping on finances at the moment if I buy them now (we are trying to pay off some other debts by August before purchasing the vacation tickets/etc)

??

This is why we always order tickets through WDW direct. I don't think the prices are much different & you do not have to have the Park Hoppers activated.

Just call Rosa at Paramount on monday 1 888 281 6699. I have used Paramount twice and it is not a big deal at all. I know it may sound complicated right now but it isn't. There are many places that offer a fax service. Rosa will tell you the easiest way to fax. I have no idea if Paramount is raising their prices. But I will tell you they are awesome to do business with. Please don't worry!

Beanie - thanks for the bump :) I'm a little calmer today and will just wait and see what happens. I've read many posts that believe the increase won't affect online prices. I guess time will tell...

BibbidyBobbidyBoo - I don't know that the prices are going up at paramount, but didn't want to take the chance. We are going the beginning of July so I really needed to order soon anyway. The prices on their website have not gone up recently and a checked today and they still don't show an increase, but I think their office is closed until monday so I don't know that they would get changed until then (IF they are changing at all).

dahess - What do you mean by having the park hoppers "activated"? Who has to activiate them? Do you mean when we get there? Last time I got my tickets from AAA and they were the actual park hoppers that you buy at disney - no activation needed. Are you saying that paramounts are different?? I went with them because it was a little over $100 cheaper than ordering through disney directly (Needed 4 adult 5day plus and one child 5 day plus). We are really scrimping and saving for this trip this year and needed to save wherever we could. I hope I won't regret ordering from here.

Muffy - You must have posted as I was writing my novel, lol! Thanks so much for the encouraging post!! My husband is going to fax my info at work on Monday (he's a little more up to date with technology than I am, lol!). I'm glad to hear you had a positive experience with paramount! Makes me feel a lot better!

bartleby1, As far as activating a pass from Paramount, it would depend on which pass you ordered. You haven't mentioned which one you are getting. The only one that needs to be activated is the 30 day pass. I just bought three of these and it is quite simple to activate them. You just turn them in at any quest services with a photo ID. Please don't worry!

Muffy - thanks a million again for putting my mind at ease! We ordered the 5 day parkhopper plus tickets. I've worried myself silly planning this trip, lol! DH is not into planning so it is all left up to me. He thinks that we can just throw a one year old and 3 year old in the car, drive down, and do disney with no plans, tickets, reservations, etc. If it were up to him, he would be travelling without even diapers for the baby, lol! He just doesn't get it :)

barbleb1, There is nothing to turn in with the 5 day hopper. Just use it like any other hopper. I had to laugh about your husband! It is all up to us to do the planning, LOL! Have fun and happy planning!
