Ticket Prices

Has anyone heard if they are raising the prices of tickets the end of the year/beginning of next year?

Ticket prices have historically been raised only once per year. There was a price increase this past June. I would not expect one again so soon. Especially since park attendance is way down and that would be a daggar thru the heart for them.

Park attendance has been speculated to be down the last 10 years...but ticket prices are still raised every single year.

OP, count on a price increase sometime in the next year. It used to be always the end of August, but now they've been changing it up and moving the date around.

It's a given ticket prices will be increased sometime within the next year.

It usually happens sometime in the summer. I believe most of the time it happens in August. I have not heard anything about the time frame you mentioned.

True. But not twice within a year. Which would be really short-sighted on Disney's part. And that was what my point was.

Normally Ticket Price increases always go into effect on a Sunday. The earliest Disney will usually announce the increases is late on a Friday afternoon.

The only people who know in advance are some managers and high level people, the programmers for the ticketing computers, and the people who make signs and printed materials.

Often many of us who sell tickets find out when we come in and find that the prices on our terminals are changed, and the sheets we have in the booths to show Guests their choices are new.

I was thinking they raised them at the end or beginning of the year. I'm glad they normally raise in the middle of the year then! We probably won't go back until late next year and I was just wondering if I should look into buying 1 or more tickets now to save a few dollars but it looks like I don't have too:thumbsup2 Thanks guys!
