Happy Sunday

#1 - I’m grateful for my last name - it starts with O.

#2 - I’m grateful for my oven - since I like to cook, it’s used all the time.

#3 - I’m grateful for Opals - they are my birthstone and I think they are beautiful.

Ocean - need it for cruises let alone fact it’s amazing and beautiful and full of creatures!!!

Organized- I’m grateful I’m a very organized person

Outdoors - except during winter I like being outside now if I wintered someplace warm then I would like it then too !

Open windows, fresh breeze.

Open communication. It's not always easy, is it? Especially, online where things can be so easily misinterpreted, but gentle, clear and direct can be such a relief sometimes.

Out of Africa soundtrack, I love the music!

Ocean views, air, walks...

OJ, especially if blended with frozen banana.

1. I have to go with Oceans too - love them!

2. Oranges - such a great fruit!

3. Ole Miss / Oxford, MS - this is where DD2 went to college and we have a lot of fun memories moving her in and out and visiting there!

Me too, oceans! I live less than a mile from the Atlantic, and right now, I’m on an ocean cruise with our Ohio neighbors! Current picture from my balcony! Yes, Lady Liberty is right there!


Ohio…for 23 years we lived there. Tom took me kicking and screaming away from my beloved East Coast, but I found good friends and many happy memories there.

Oranges! Especially freshly squeezed orange juice!

We are going on a cruise out of NYC in February - I know it will be cold, but I'm looking forward to it. They say it's such a beautiful sail-away!

Happy Monday DIS Friends!

#1 - I’m grateful for Christmas cards - they are getting less and less - many people don’t send them out anymore. I still enjoy sending and receiving them.

#2 - I’m grateful for coupons from Meijer - saving money is always a good thing.

#3 - I’m grateful for magazines - I don’t get them, but my mom does and when she’s done with them, she gives them to me, and then when I’m done I take them to the office for our patients to enjoy.

(Mon, 10/9) - 3 things you're grateful for that have come in the mail

1. I'm grateful for packages that get delivered to our house. It amazes me that we can basically have anything shipped to our houses!

2. I'm grateful for cards that come in the mail - birthday, sympathy, Christmas, etc. They are nice to receive. I'm not the best at sending cards, but it's something I'm consciously working on because I feel that it's important.

3. I'm grateful for our county's weekly paper. We receive it every Thursday and it just has local news, events and sports results. It's nice because it has a lot of pictures and lists of the kids for various things - honor roll, student of the week, sports pictures, homecoming queen and king, etc. I'm just appreciative that we still have a local paper for our small town.
