Three Things...Gratitude Thread

...matter of fact I like it so much that I decided I would share it with my kitchen, cabinets and floor - I dropped my cup full of one yesterday. It went everywhere. I will be cleaning it for a third time today because it’s still sticky...
Oh, yuck! - My sympathies!!

Sliders - I am grateful for tiny burgers !
Good answer, though!

Extra :hug:Slo and enjoy Indiana Jones, my friend :)
Thank you :goodvibes and the movie was outstanding! Classic Indiana Jones - I’m very happy we went to see it. Two very enthusiastic 👍🏼👍🏼
Slo- the first answer I thought of, even before reading anyone else's replies! You are an icon here on the DISboards, and I look forward to reading your surveys every morning, @slo! :grouphug:

Slushies- It's been stupidly hot this week and we don't have a/c. DH brought me a root beer slushie two nights ago which pretty much saved my life!

Slippers- although mine are more like knitted socks with grippy things on the bottom. They are cozy and comforting, and the little hedgehog face on them makes me smile.

I second @slo and slushies, and the inspiration for the thread - a good night's sleep!!

SL - this one is no Slam-dunk reply - no slapdash answer and move on - I can’t say I’m grateful I sleepwalk as that’s dangerous - or I am often sleepless -
I will agree SLO -she’s a wonderful person and I’m very grateful to be able to call her my friend ❤️❤️❤️ she means a lot to me !!!
Sliders - I am grateful for tiny burgers ! I don’t eat a lot so I like tiny food

Slushy Drinks ❤️❤️ - LOVE a slushier drink - with it without alcohol - matter of fact I like it so much that I decided I would share it with my kitchen, cabinets and floor - I dropped my cup full of one yesterday. It went everywhere. I will be cleaning it for a third time today because it’s still sticky- as you all may remember I have a margarita maker so I can make myself slushy drinks!!!

A continued thank you to each of you today - you all made me feel very special, and I appreciate each and every one of all my DIS friends!
God bless you all! ❤️:goodvibes:grouphug:

(Fri, 7/7) - 3 treats you're grateful for
1. Dove Dark Chocolate Promises (I just might be addicted)
2. Chocolate ice cream
3. Lindt Dark Chocolate truffles
(Notice a theme? lol)

(Sat, 7/8) 3 things you're grateful for that involve numbers
1. Bible references (stealing this one... great answer!)
2. Car odometers... I like trying to catch "fun" numbers... palindromes, repeats, etc.)
3. Countdowns. Countdowns usually indicate something fun and/or exciting.

(Sun, 7/9) - 3 things you're grateful for beginning with SL
1. Sloths
2. Sleep
3. Slides, specifically water slides.
And a bonus, because I only gave 3 answers back on the 4th, and because this one is a bit of a cheat on the SL category, but... St. Louis! :)

Happy Monday

#1 - I’m grateful for the 14 years we had with our Sophie dog RIP) - she was my baby and it’s been almost exactly one year since she went to The Rainbow Bridge - we still miss her every day.

#2 - I’m grateful for our little Guinea Pig named Zoe - she’s now 7 years old. She has been such a little joy and has a huge personality. We really do love that little pig.

#3 - I’m grateful for all our deer friends in the forest next to our house - I love being able to watch them from my front room window and/or front porch. They used to eat my Impatients, which was annoying, but when I stopped planting them, and planted others flowers, they never touched them.

Ha ha - I thought I was the only person who did that with the car numbers !!!

All my Dogs through the years but my 2nd one the most - he was super special to me and I miss him daily
I’m not a cat person but not a cat hater - we’ve had several and I miss them as each one has been special in their own way and one used to get into trouble with above special dog !!
I love Bears and I’m very grateful for Explore.org for their webcams to view the bears feeding at Katmai National Park - been watching them for over a decade and have gotten to know several bears - bears are extremely smart
Bonus - I love horses and horse racing ! I don’t bet money on it ( I’m not rich ) but I enjoy following the horses and watching the races every weekend ! This is something I’ve done since I was a kid - horses are beautiful animals
I’m grateful for zebras & giraffes two of my other favorite animals
I’d be wrong not to mention cows - I’m very grateful for cows
I’ll mention my pesky deer who ate my ONE and only ride this weekend I’ll give them a pass as I’m grateful they normally eat the weeds in my yard !!!
I love animals and I’m very grateful for them ! ❤️❤️❤️

Furry

1. Pickle and Moo - the kitties. Moo is a bad Tom cat that just showed up in our yard 4 years ago at 6 weeks. I heard him crying and DH kept saying oh its just a bird....Pickle is our tiny diva shelter kitty. We think she's about 9. The pic makes her look huge. It's all hair. She is TINY, about 7 lbs, and when groomed looks like a little rat.

2. Honeybun is our full-blooded shih tzu. A sweet little quiet diva dog. Literally the best little loving.

3. Snicker and Doodle are loveable gerbils. They are so funny and sweet. The cats don't bother them at all.

1. Our Shetland Sheepdog, Sammy - he was our dog before we had kids and he was definitely our kid. He was so good with the kids when they were born too.

2. We don't have any pets now mainly due to being gone too much, but all 3 of our kids want dogs/cats when they have a place where they can have them. I'm glad that they are animal lovers and look forward to our future "grand-dogs or kitties"!

3. My sister's dogs. Her family has always had 2 dogs. Right now they have Ringo and Barbie - a black lab and a golden retriever.

You have a mini zoo! :dogdance: :ccat:🐹 And that last picture 😍

We don't have pets currently but I am grateful for pets we have had/had the experience to be around:
Charlie-my childhoold dog...st bernard/irish setter mix...he was such a goofball

Daisy-my in law's sweet lab...she was always so gentle with my son when he was a baby(he was gentle too!) they would just lay together on the floor together

Winston-he is one of our customer's dogs...he's a keeshond/poodle mix...always gets the zoomies when he comes to visit...then "slides in to home plate" backwards so I can scratch his back under his curled tail. He also boops my cheek when he sees me vs slobbering all over my face...I like the respect 🤣

I am allergic to furry animals. :sad1:

I am grateful for all the memes with cute puppies and kittens that make me smile

I am grateful for all the wild animals, and their contributions to the planet (I love the bear cams too)

I am grateful for all the photos my fellow DISers post of their furry family members
