Did anyone say lobster rolls?

Although not cheap, if lobster drops to below $10 a pound, we'll get enough to have lobster rolls. The grocery stores here will steam them while you shop, although it's smarter to call in your order and get a pick-up time. We bring them home, pick them, chop the meat, and add diced celery and mayo. That gets piled into a New England style, grilled hot dog roll and voila! Lunch... usually with chips or potato salad (or just a 2nd lobster roll)!
Also like to bring them home and have boiled potatoes and corn on the cob, ready to go for a shore dinner. I miss adding steamers to this, but they are stupidly expensive. One expensive entree per meal, right? Seriously, though... even here in Maine, lobster isn't cheap most of the time, and all winter it was around $20 a pound. We've been lucky, though, and a couple of times it's dropped into my "acceptable" price range. Scallops are normally around $22 a pound, so we wait for them to go on sale at about $12 a pound before we enjoy them, too. I always tell myself, it's more affordable than going OUT for seafood.
