The wedding sounds like it should be fun.party: I can't wait to see pictures.
Since we were discussing transfers yesterday I wanted to show ya'll the picture I put on the pillowcase for my DD's friend. The birthday party is tomorrow.

Funny thing is DD told me that at school today another girl told the birthday girl she should get a pillow with Joe Jonas' picuture on it so she could hug it. Birthday girl said that she wish she had one, but she has never seen them before.  OMGravy-Tweenagers!:lmao:
DD thinks I am :cool2: (well, at least for the time being, until I do something like, totally stuuupid, or mom-like which could be any second now-fame is so fleeting.):confused3 :lmao:

G'night Tkr's
Peace, Love &

Good morning killer's, thanks Bopsmom. Your DD's GF will be over the top:banana: and you will just be in the "Super Cool Mom's Hall of Fame":dance3:.
dreamin, the wedding does sound like it will be fun, have to ask? I see it is a mix theme, what about the teapots? Does she collect? I'm sure your kids do love her, she sounds like the Lucy Ball Auntie Mame, you know full of adventure and fun.
Update, Kayla pm'd me see has been sick the last few days but said she would try to get hold of the right tech's to get my profile/registration straightened out:cheer2:. Who knows killers, I may be growing up soon:rotfl2: :rotfl:

Just got caught up. Happy Saturday Killers. Stuck at work as usual, but at least I have a minute on break to check in.

After ordering lunch yesterday, a friend had to be taken to the ER.
Anyway, thanks for listening. It's just another reminder that God's in charge and we need Him for the big and small things.

So sorry about your friend, but glad to hear she's on the mend. Sprinkle a little pixie dust at her for us (unless, of course, she doesn't know you are secretly a TK'er. :goodvibes )

hey everyone, i posted but it's taking forever, so i thought i'd try here at quick reply.

we're having a great time here in wdw and sadly have to go home tomorrow. we're missing the kids so i guess it's ok. can't wait to catch up! welcome back magikitty. i hope everythings ok with you.

I hope you had a great trip! I'm sure it was fun AND you're probably thrilled to be back w/ the kiddies again too. But, away time is nice... I've heard.

No, I just thought the dumping of the looong threads & both of the 'thread kiilers' threads were just too funny to pass up!

Jean

WELCOME! Feel free to drop by anytime. We're a looney bunch, but we have fun! :cutie:

Update: kayla pm'd me to see if they changed my profile (you know the under 13), they haven't yet but she is working on getting the powers to take care of it:thumbsup2.

Are you sure you are ready? Might be time to head to Never Never Land. :rotfl:

Afternoon all! Glad to see we're still here.
It is funny to read the CB now. So many cliqueless, anti-clique, new clique or improved cliques starting out there.
Are we a clique????

Definitely not. A clique doesn't go all out to welcome new people. By definition, they don't want anyone else... unless, of course, they measure up to the groups coolness standards:cool1: And, I don't think we have that problem here! Didn't we start this thing b/c we were so panicky and uncool? :rolleyes1
I really love us... We crack me up. :rotfl: :lmao:

We just got home from going out to dinner. Everyplace was packed tonight even after 7pm. We usually don't go out to dinner much because the kids are not so good at it yet. But tonight they were wonderful. May have to try this again. :goodvibes

Maybe its a magical night. I got out of work early for the first time in ages on a Friday (I usu work up until 9pm) and DH suggested searching thru our unused gift certificates and going out to dinner. :cloud9:
It was such a nice treat, and DS was truly an angel. DH and I said the same thing "may have to try this again." DS even ordered his own food saying "May I please have macaroni and cheese please." (He's 2 and 8mo, so quite an accomplishment.) I know I'm being a bit braggy, but I was just so happy to have such a nice night out. Really made my week.

Okay killers it's time to do a :I am now a Dis board Veteran:woohoo:, over 500 post! I think I may have a little party tiggerfan1 did that when she recently reached her 500+ post. Of course I'm not sure how she did this I'll ask. Reading the earlier pages we lost a few earlier poster's like buffalogirl, tiggerfan1, blamemysister is back now:), so I think to celebrate I will invite them to stop by here and say hello. What's everyone think?

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You've come so far! :woohoo: :cool1:

pepper23[/B]-I'm here too. A fall in aerobics :scared1: That is why I could never take aerobics. I trip over the air while I'm walking. :rotfl:

You are not alone. I'm a klutz, but MIL has the best (or worst) story. She once tripped over a wave at the beach and broke her collar bone! Many years ago, so we laugh now...

Well, signing off. Gotta get back to work.

Have a great day TK'ers!

Its the end of my lunch break. I'm eating a brownie and drinking cold milk.

I guess work's not all bad.

Mmmmm... We need a chocolate smilie. ;)

disney54us 500 Dis Veteran! :dance3: :woohoo: AND you figured how to fix an oops. :thumbsup2
dreamin in pa "wedding cake shaped liked a giant teapot" :rotfl2:
Bopsmom you listened to Bobby Sherman? So did I. I even saw him in concert with Davy Jones and Peter Noone.

I thought we all agreed that we were in our mid 20's on this thread:rolleyes1
I knew about him because I am a History :teacher: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Just Kiddin!
Actually he was a just a little bit before my time. I do remember watching him on the show Here Comes the Brides.
We just use to always say the phrase Peace,Love&Bobby Sherman when I was in High School
Ya'll might get a kick out of this site:cool2:
http://www.stuckinthe70s.com/index.html

Okay, I had all these nice little quotes, but when I submitted they were all gone, so I am going to go try to "talk" again haha. Anyway I did promise you guys my fall story.

Okay all, here is the story as I posted it on some thread that....you guessed it...I got totally ignored on...I think it is becoming almost humorous at this point.

Anyway, here it is...my great fall:

fell in step aerobics last night, right on my butt. Of course the class was full and I was up front. It would not have been so bad had I not had the slight BOUNCE from the fat on my fanny!! A bounce which the two "20 something" 110 pound girls in the back clearly saw judging by their slight snicker...actually it was more of a snort..but I digress...nope, not humiliated at all...nope not me. Did you know they stop the whole class when someone falls??? Yay me.

phew, thanks disney54us. Its been a few hours. I thought maybe I killed us.

Its the end of my lunch break. I'm eating a brownie and drinking cold milk.

I guess work's not all bad.

Mmmmm... We need a chocolate smilie.

awww Lighttech, I feel bad, you should have PM'd me I would have popped in and chatted with you during your lunch break. :guilty: Remember too, during the week any of you can feel free to click on my Yahoo thingie over there. I am not on as much over the weekends...but sometimes am...we use it at work to chat with off site people and each other when we are too lazy to get up lol, so I am always on at work. :goodvibes

the theme of the wedding....well, there's irish to it because dad is irish, there are some references to bowling and of couse the scottish with her son wearing the kilt. We've talked her out of alot of things including having her wedding cake shaped liked a giant teapot.

She's a great lady even if a bit unique. My dad loves her and my kids love her. What more could you ask for.

The dream wedding topper....mmmm I'll have to go back and look at all the sites I bookmarked.

She sounds fun! I missed it though, who is getting married? I am sure ya'll have figured out by now I am a little slow on the uptake at times lol.

disney54us-I'll celebrate with you Maybe I can catch up if they keep the boards working good.

pepper23-I'm here too. A fall in aerobics :scared1: That is why I could never take aerobics. I trip over the air while I'm walking.

Ok, stepmom has decided on her cake topper or actually 2 cake toppers. And no she isn't getting 2 cakes. One of them will actually be for the bridal table. :rolleyes2 I don't ask, I just go along with what she says. One of them is nice and fits with the biggest theme of the wedding. And the other one, let's just say she didn't want my dad to feel excluded in the wedding decorations. I'll post pictures for everyone tomorrow.

well I quoted you twice, but darned if I remember what I was gonna say ha ha ha. Told ya...slooowwww thinker lately...must be that ripe old age of "25" kicking in. Maybe I need another unbirthday....OH WAIT...It is your Stepmom getting married? Or future stepmom lol.

Oh, Glad your back So nice you went to go to dinner and the kids
were:angel:. That's good news seems everything is going well in the kid department:. Remember baby steps, and hey you have 4, I would think it is a little difficult to pull it off:confused3. Guess you can't make them study on Friday's so you won't get kicked off:.
Oh I did that stupid thing and started writing in between your quote, so it comes out different now:confused:. I have more pictures that need to go into books, oh dear going back to our first trip ( which was 12 years ago:scared1:)
Hey in my preview post, I went and figured out how to fix it:cheer2: the quote thing, gee I'm so proud:idea: :rotfl:

glad to see you back pepper, fall:scared1: :confused3, are you all right?? Hope nothing's broken or sprained. Remember ice and motrin and elevate.
Your not here alone, go up two post. I really was feeling deserted or that I did it and killed us:scared1:

Okay killers it's time to do a :dance3:& party: :rockband:,I am now a Dis board Veteran:woohoo:, over 500 post! Yay you on your 500 post!!!! :cheer2: :dance3: Nope, nothing broken just my pride when the instructor STOPPED THE WHOLE CLASS to ask if I was okay...then of course there was "snort girls" in the back....would it have been wrong to go pull her step from under her? :rotfl:

:rotfl2: pepper, you are too funny!!!!! I can't even do aerobics since I am challenged when it comes to coordination.

Hey, who is Bobby Sherman????

Bopsmom - She is going to  that pillow.

pepperw23-nope, would not have been wrong to pull her step out from under her....as long as nobody sees you :tiptoe: And it's my dad getting married. And he has no idea what stepmom is planning for this wedding. I guess the guests won't be the only ones surprised. :lmao:

DL55-yup, a cake shaped like a teapot. And that was after her daughter and I talked her out of the one that looked like a lamp.

disney54us-She doesn't collect teapots. She just liked it. Now that you mentioned it, she is very much like Lucille Ball. She even has red hair and she is very clumsy too. And she is filled with very crazy ideas. :lmao:

:rotfl2: I gave up on Jazzercise when I was spending more time recovering from it than doing it. I like Pilates and Piyo(a combination of Pilates and Yoga).
We have a Dance Dance Revolution Game (DD and friend playing right now). DH and I play it to make the kids laugh:rotfl2: always works! We use our lack of coordination for entertainment. I hope "snort girls" understand the workings of Karma. We had a "snort girl" in our Pilates class-she was soooo:snooty: because she was youngest and thought she could do anything and made comments to anyone that wasn't as limber. She forgot that during some of the yoga/pilates positions gas bubbles look for an escape route:rotfl2: needless to say she wasn't on the front row for the next class.
Can you say Karma!:thumbsup2

Bobby Sherman was a teen idol/singer in the 60's and early 70's. :hippie:

Pillow update. Birthday Girl loved:love: the pillowcase. She ran upstairs put it on her pillow and was  and :love2: it for the rest of the party. Ughhh
so glad DD is not "there" yet. It was a big hit-I've had 3 more requests for the pillowcases:laughing:

I was with ya on the yoga/pilates until the escaping gas thing. Can't do that either.

Bopsmom - What part of Texas are ya' all from? We almost moved to Frisco a few years ago when DH thought he might be transfered.

I have lots of friends from the Dallas area-just don't tell anyone:ssst:
I was born in San Antonio.
I was raised in Houston in the Rice Village Area.(sorry momma, I know it's reared, not raised-you "raise" chickens/livestock, you rear children:rotfl2:-this is one of my DM's pet peeves:laughing: )
I live outside Houston in Missouri City/Sugarland area.:thumbsup2

 but it is so funny too. Serves her right too....Karma is great.

Pillowcase looked great. That is one picture I will not show my kids. Or else, I'll be making them for the next couple of weeks. :rotfl:

Ok, here are the 2 cakes that we talked stepmom out of getting. Enjoy!

Okay killers, your :rotfl2: :rotfl2: , it seems every time I'm not clued I miss so much:confused3. To much to multi quote on, so hi all and I will do that tomorrow. :rotfl2: you guys are the best!!

Okay...I had to log out to put the kids to bed. Tucked in for now. Until I hear little feet behind me. :tiptoe:

I take it the DFW area is not a Texas favorite???? Too many transplants right?
It was/is a very nice area. Too bad it didn't work out. I could have been one of your secret friends. :ssst: We still have relatives (BIL and SIL) who live in Austin, so we get down to Texas every now and then. My SIL's mother lives in Beaumont. She's a blood Texan but my BIL is the transplant.

Dreamin - I like those cakes!!!! You shouldn't have talked her out of them.

OMG, just hit submit and yours came in before, 1 i didn't mean clued in but know I don't have to go back and edit. Dreamin What in the world?:rotfl2:, but really Auntie Mame is one of my favorite's:goodvibes.

Houston and Dallas have a love/hate relationship. lots of rivalry between the two cities.
I love:love: Austin, everyone does!. I was wearing my tye-died "Keep Austin Weird" t-shirt just this morning:hippie:
I hope your SIL's Mom faired well in Rita. That area got hit pretty hard.
I'm a native Texan, so is DD but DH is a Buckeye that I naturalized;) ;)
