This place has more cliques than HS

I do think that is one of the actual reasons for a number of the 'cliques', they are a 'safe haven', a comfort zone. One can subscribe to a 'clique' thread and always be able to go see their buddies, not get lost.

I know how you feel Tea, there have been a few times I've posted to a thread and even though the postings continued after mine for about three pages, it was like mine wasn't there and was never mentioned. I was beginning to think I was on everyone's ignore list . I don't take it personally anymore.

Both excellent points Dan, thanks for expressing what I was thinking!

Anyone is welcome on the Swan/Dolphin Cheerleaders thread here on the CB .....just stop on by. Some of us post daily....others pop in and out and disappear for days, weeks, months even, depending on things in their real lives. Some of the original "members" never post anymore....and some people test the waters and keep coming back. Some of us never post on any board but the CB and almost exclusively on that thread (the "comfort zone" Dan described)...others of us frequent other boards and threads regularly too.....and have had experienced the "being ignored" feeling too....but as Honeypooh just mentioned, you just can't take it personally.

And I assure you that if you post to the S/D c/l thread, you'll be welcomed and acknowledged in our little CB "home".

You know....some time back...we had a "cross-posting" day here on the CB....where people were encouraged to go "visit" amongst the "group" threads. It was quite fun. (Those Ya-ya's know how to party ) We should do it again sometime !

I am guilty of reading many of the P&PD threads and only posting to 1/4 of them. And I don't belong to any cliques. Most of the time I just don't know the right words to say. I really want it to be meaningful and if I don't know the words I move on. Doesn't mean that persons request is meant any less.
