This might not mean anything, but I wonder

Every week or so, I check disney.com and see what kind of package deals are available for Dec 26 to Jan 3. I currenty have a reservation at the Swan for this time and am very happy with it but would really like to stay at a "Disney" resort if possible since it will be the week between x-mas and New yrs and want to keep all possible options open including doing a package deal. I know that this is a very expensive time to go, but this is when I have the time off.

I know that every time I check the amounts are about the same, but you never know unless you check. However when I went to check today, no matter where I was checking, I got the following message:

We're Sorry!
We're sorry. We were unable to access the inventory for the requested resort at this time
.

I have never ran into this problem before other than they day fairytale package came out for the general public. My first thought that came to mind when this came up, was maybe there are putting new information into the system for new deals. However like I said before, it might be that the site is down and nothing more than that.

I guess I can only hope.

There have been a lot of problems with the online booking lately, I wouldn't read anything into it giving you that response. :)

I tried to access it this morning (GMT) to check a room only date in August and got the same message. In my experience the site always acts up like this when they're adding stuff to it (usually the day before the 'vacation specials' goes on the front page), but in light of the recent demand with the FT package, it's more than likely they're doing some maintenance to cope with the demand.

I love to check prices and availability, so I hate when this happens. Hope it's up and running again soon.

It means the online reservations service is not working at the moment. Like all computer error messges, it is phrased in the language of the programmer rather than that of the user. They never learn.
