Hey.
Hm. The BCV's aren't finished yet, and since we're the only website I know of with the most info available on resorts before they're completed, you're going to want to check back here in a few months. I'm sure the DIS will let y'all know when they accept reservations, and I know there will be more information as Pete (and TPTB) gets them.
The BCV's will have studios (usually a queen bed and a sofabed), one-bedroom villas (king bed and jacuzzi in master bdrm, sofabed and kitchen in living room), and two bedroom villas (one bedroom villa + studio). I don't know for sure if they won't have Grand Villas...this has something to do with the fact that since it's not on the water...why pay $1,000 or more per night for a unit the size of Texas that has a view of...a lawn or driveway? Same principle applies at the Wilderness Lodge Villas.
The only DVC i stayed at before was Vero Beach (3 times, Feb. '97, April '98 and Nov. '99), each time it got exponentially more incredible. The last time, in '99, we had the very center room on the fourth floor of the Inn...2417, I think it was. Amazing view...big room, 2 queen beds, great ocean view. All the DVC accommodations are really top-notch, partially because people do make a long-term commitment and well, they have to keep us going back! I think the Beach Club Villas should be larger than the Wilderness Lodge and Boardwalk Villas, but not Old Key West or Vero. The units will probably be around the same layout as Boardwalk (don't fix what ain't broke), with the same bedding arrangements.
And...when I get BCV info, I'm adding it to the last post on the first page. That's why I put it there.
tresey, check the Discounts section on the first page. You can get mondo discounts with an Annual Pass, and even though it's $350 or so more for the pass, it's still a phenomenal savings on multi-night hotel stays. Plus, your pass is good for a year. Disney Club is good too, but as I showed on the first page, the discounts aren't as great.
The discount codes are listed elsewhere on the DIS. I'm pretty sure I can't post discount codes on this here thread (thank you moderators...), but look on the main Resorts Board. Thanks! Have an awesome trip.
