The lady at Guest services that said we would be by the quiet pool was wrong. We actually overlook where you walk into the Lobby when you are coming from the lake. We also do not have a full balcony but it is still a great room. I actually really like the location and we really have not thought twice about the balcony. Mousekeeping has been wonderful so far and the staff is super nice. We stayed at Dolpin last time and we like BC better so far because of the staff.
The kids met Art today for the first time. We actually asked yesterday at the desk about him because DD has been missing him. He is the nicest person I think I have ever met. He got down to talk to DS and stayed there forever. Art was asking him what kind of pins he liked and all about them. The kids adore him to say the least.
Also I do not remember reading about it but everyday so far in the lobby they have had a few members from Mousekeeping showing kids how to make Towel animals!! We had a few in our room when we got here as well.
So we love our room and adore beach club! Definately thrilled with our decision to stay here! Now to nap.

Where exactly do you mean?

We rented a boat for Illuminations one time. Is the area you're talking about by those docks?

I dont think it would be hard to have a view of the parking lot! Im sure most people DONT want that view in the first place. if you are worried a non parking lot view will have noise it wont. we had a waterview facing the quiet pool and it was not noisy at all...the only noise you will hear is illuminations and even that is not that noisy....

unless you meant you dont want a view of the parking lot!!!!?????

Hello all. DH and I had dinner last week at the Yachtman's and just fell in LOVE with the Yacht Club. We were supposed to stay at the Contemporary next year - but all bets are off now. \

The first thing I did at work this morning (after being off for 2 weeks)

we book our trip for next year! We aren't officially booked yet - I have to crunch some numbers for the 2008 Dining Plan. I'm thinking that we will do the deluxe (but that's for another thread) :rotfl2:

I figured that was what you meant!!!

With the exception of paying the extra $$$ for a view the only other thing you can do if just state what you would prefer on your reservations. i know when im going in may we are staying at a 2 bedroom villa I made sure the reservationist specified a DEDICATED 2 bedroom...hopefully i will get that when I am there

btw I will be there the same time as you I am going from may 14th to may 21st.

Okay here's a dumb question. What does it mean to ask for a DEDICATED two bedroom? I know we all get very attached to things at Disney but my guess is that's not what your talking about.

I believe a dedicated 2-bedroom means that there is no door that leads to the hallway from the 2nd bedroom. In other words, the 2nd bedroom cannot be a separate room from the other parts should the connecting door be closed.

Some 2 bedrooms are still studios and/or 1 bedrooms but have a connecting door to another so that they can then be called 2 bedrooms. Do I make sense? :confused3

YUP!!! You are right! The biggest reason I want the dedicated 2 bedroom is because the 2nd bedroom will have 2 queen size beds instead of queen size bed and a couch that opens into a queen size bed! (at least I think thats the case :lmao:

)

OK guys here are pictures of room 3631 at BC. Standard view HA room 2 queens no day bed and not a full balcony.

Our view which we were quite happy with.

The bedroom from the window & as a bonus you get a picture of my unhappy daughter who wanted to go and not take pictures of the room and wait for the luggage lol:

we had a dedicated 2 bdrm in June with one king and one queen/pull out. We had requested the 2 queens in the second bedroom too. :guilty:
