That is very nice resort

I have not stayed there since 94 I think

Only 1 word of warning for you....very spread out, so a lot of walking

Did you look at Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter.

Not trying to change your mind, just don't want you being shocked

I am checking them all out. I was reading and they recommend asking for a room near the lobby or the bus stop and now I know why.

I have no clue still.:rotfl: That is just the resort of choice right now. Later I am sure it will be another. This is why I am asking you, I know that you are more familiar with the resorts than I am.

They don't put me out anymore. I have to be partially awake to move in certain directions. And since I had the bowel sectional It really hurts when they get to where they cut part of it out and put it together. But that's o.k. I have had more colonoscopys than I care to remember but I don't think you can ever get used to that!!:sad2::laughing:
But maybe i could take my pain meds and the phenergren right before it and I would be in lala land.:thumbsup2:rotfl2:
Or maybe they will knock me out this time :scratchin:
Hope this makes sense. I'm a wee bit loopy!:rolleyes1

Oh, I'm sorry, I had no idea you had all that done before. Or if I did, I had forgotten! Well, I won't kid you... that does not sound like a good time. And yes, I agree, loopy would be a good thing to be then!

I am so darn tired today! I've been fighting a cold all week and today was crazy busy for me at school and it just did me in! I came home and took an hour nap! I NEVER do that! :sad2:

Hi Nicole, I'm sorry you are feeling wonderful. I hope that you are able too rest up this weekend.

Sweet..going to look :surfweb:

Glad things are moving along

More coming up, I'm on a roll now :woohoo:

I was there!

Cool :thumbsup2

I think that we have decided on our resort for our trip. I really like the Caribbean Beach Resort, but stay tuned this could change at any point.

It looked very pretty and relaxed. Just keep in mind that it won't have a "Disney" feel - more of a tropical resort feel. I've pretty much figured that for my tastes I like being around full-on Disney theming. DLH at DL and Pop at WDW

Me too - icky head cold and body aches :sad1: I hope we both get over it quickly :goodvibes

My great search is on Mike. I need to find as much information as I can about the different resorts as I can.

I love this part of the trip. The planning is so great for me!!

Yeah, if you go that route, definitely ask for room near food court

with our trips, we just tell them Trent and I both have asthma and would be easier on us if we had closer room

I am here..ready to help :wizard:

The asthma is a brilliant idea. I am keeping a notebook and the tip about the near the food court is going into it. Thank you.

When we stayted at cabin at Fort Wilderness, we asked to be near bus station again...as myself, Trent and my friend daughter all have asthma.

We had best spot. WE literally, walked out onto deck, down stairs and in our back yard was the bus stop

so awesome!!!!

Good idea on takin notes :thumbsup2

Oh that sounds great. How nice are the cabins? I have always kind of been interested in staying in one.

Someone told me that the buses don't run the same to all of the resorts, and that some resorts have better bus service. Is this true?

Well, if you are talking our trip in 2012 you'll have a bit of time to save the money for sure.

I think that Pop and and the Movie Resort grounds are so cute!! And the prices are amazingly low.

Hi again. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers. Pain is getting better. Of course I am on some major pain meds!;)
As of now I am NPO possibly start clear liquids tonight or in the a.m. and get to have a colonoscopy Fri. now! Yuck! I really want them to find the problem and fix it. I have one doctor saying there is an abcess One saying no because the white blood cell count is fine. One saying a twist in the colon and 1 saying no and the other saying lets clean her out and see.
Fixing to have to go as they are coming back in to INVADE me again!!! :scared1:

About baby J. As hard as it is not to accept visitors and believe me I know it's hard. I am a people person. It is worth it. I had to do it with Braeton for a very long time. Then when family or someone would come over even if he wasn't getting held by them EVERYONE washed their hands with soap and water and then used germex later. Also if anyone smokes that's coming over you can ask them not to smoke before they come and wear clean clothes. Or they can ask for the hospital gowns from the NICU. The hospital sent them home for us.

O.k. everything is getting blurry. I'm off for now
Good night. Be back later or in a bit. Who knows:confused3

I am glad they are keeping your pain in check. I hope they find out what is wrong soon so you can stop going back and forth with the maybe's!

You're right about having to keep baby J safe! That's exactly what I told Angie. I said it's about her right now and she needs to stop worrying about everyone else. But she is just like you! She LOVES people and is ALWAYS doing something so this is absolutely killing her hah! she understands why they want them to be cautious but she's counting down the weeks/days until she can allow visitors to come over.

Us too, we were both worried while we were away.

Yeah, it wasn't what I would have wanted to come back to, but better to have been there for it. And at this point I basically don't have a voice. Hope I can kick it pretty quick.

TY for the happy thoughts :)

Sending lots of P&PD her way

YW!

Work is keeping me busy for sure, I'm looking forward to something NOT blowing up there! We have been able to fix everything that has come at us, but we've done so many upgrades and made so many changes that the water are just too muddy. Frustrating but we had to bite the bullet and get some fresh eyes on it.

I hadn't said anything about my MiL until we got back and had her back home. It acually gets more complicated, but I'll go into that on the TR.

The ankle thing gets even better! As some of you may know, my nephew moved back to Santa Rosa just before Christmas. We had been trying to get his stuff back to him for months. We had his brother and mom-in-law here while we were gone and apparently they were supposed to take his stuff down with them when they left but they forgot. We weren't told, otherwise we would have made sure it happened.

Now we have to get it all shipped (bro-in-law is paying for it at least). I helped load multiple boxes into our van for Roxy to take to her work. She can have stuff shipped out via UPS from there. Roxy was unloading the boxes at shipping and receiving with the help of one of the shop guys and he foot got caught on an uneven surface while trying to carry a box. BING! Sprained ankle! :headache:

I think it has rained, poured, and we're just treading water.

Yes, very true. Better to be back when things really blow up. We did have one server physically start smoking - fried motherboard. One of my admins sent me a pic of it. Luckily we have a spare chassis so he was able to just switch out the hard drives and bring the server back up :thumbsup2

As far as the update, I should be able to get some Harry Potter stuff up today :woohoo:

Mucho P&PD coming your way Cheri!!!!!

Missed this by one week! The tent they had set up had zero figures in it - drat! Very cool figures and just one more reason to go back

Leah! So good to hear from you :goodvibes I'm glad they are at least controlling your pain, but I hope they can get things figured out soon. It is a real bummer when the doctors have conflicting diagnoses. Hang in there!

And you have to do what is right to keep Baby J healthy. I have been volunteering for MaW and working with the families has made me very aware of all the precautions that have to be taken to keep a wee one healthy in such circumstances. The important thing is that there is love in the home for them

Hope you can get past this and be back home with your wee ones

Ah gotcha. Well did the hired gun fix everything? And a smoking mother board? I did that once to my PC at work. :lmao: I put in a memory card wrong and the whole thing fried when I turned the machine on. My Dad couldn't figure out how I had managed that one :lmao:

Can't wait to hear the MIL story.. I hope she is feeling better!

I can't believe they did that to y'all!! How unbelievably frustrating!!! I spoke to Roxy yesterday via IM and we spoke about her ankle. Poor girl :(

Chele....Like the Donald in siggie :thumbsup2

me too! :thumbsup2

So Kelly if you were going to go to WDW for possibly the only time you were going to go which resort would you stay at?

I will answer this too....I think if I could stay at ANY resort it would be the contemporary. I LOVE the way it is laid out and the way it looks and the room pictures look amazing! I love technology so this resort is right up my alley.

Hanging in there. Now the majority consensus is severe acute colitis. with an abcess in the colon. They have me on some strong antibiotics to take care of that. They will do another scan on Monday. If abcess is down then they will do the colonoscopy. Then they will go from there. They just did an ultrasound to rule out gallstones which the tech isn't allowed to say anything official so she said. Well I cleared up one thing so now they can focus on everything else. So basically gallbladder is fine. Said I could be in here for another week at least. :headache: On the positive side. The nurses have all been great and my family has come in and taking turns with the boys. My brother in law is bringing them camping this weekend and everybody is spoiling them so they are having a great vacation and don't realize how sick I am! I do miss them very much though. I'm still in a lot of pain and at times am out of my head. :sick:These pain meds are strong and now Thank God they are giving me phenergren so I'm not so nauseated but I get really tipsy! I am not used to pain meds!!

Hope this makes sense. I'm a wee bit loopy!:rolleyes1

Major yikes! I'm glad you are getting some answers but girl! I'm so glad you are finally in the hospital getting the treatment you really need. That sucks that you will probably have to be in there another week though away from your boys. Hopefully the weather will be nice when you get out so you guys can go and do something ultra fun together! I pray they put you to sleep for your colonoscopy. I would NOT want to be awake for something like that. No way jose!!

Cool to look at but very stinky.

Yeah, we hope things will calm down now. Roxy has a brace that she can put over her sock and still wear her shoe, so hopefully it will stay good and stable and heal up quick.

Sounds like things are moving forward - at least they are being able to do the process of elimination thing. I hope they are able to knock you out, I know I wouldn't want to be awake for something like that. Hang in there! :goodvibes

I have my Universal pics all edited, might get the next day of the TR posted before I hit the sack. :thumbsup2

OOoooo I had no idea you already started the TR! On my way over! :teleport:

I think that we have decided on our resort for our trip. I really like the Caribbean Beach Resort, but stay tuned this could change at any point.

Cool! I'll 2nd what Kelly said about it though. It is a conference resort so it's WAY spread out! And I think they share buses with Port Orleans

Oh that sounds great. How nice are the cabins? I have always kind of been interested in staying in one.

I think that Pop and and the Movie Resort grounds are so cute!! And the prices are amazingly low.

I loved the cabins

Nice and roomy. You have a full kitchen. Not that we cooked, but microwave was great for making breakfast for Trent before we went to park and at night when cravings would hit him

It hd a nice table to eat at. A Sofa that pulled out as sleeper, too.

It was very rustic and homey. I loved that you dont have anyone on top of you like at a resort.

Just so nice and pretty there. Pools are nice. They have campfires and Chip and Dale Sing Along. Movies played everynight after campfire.

They have petting zoo. THey have horseback riding. Really so much to do

Well, if you pick a value resort, all of the all stars share buses, so they might be slower. Pop has its own bus.

We really have never had a major issue with any buses anywhere. Sure, there is an occasional fluke, where it seems like you see like 3 buses for MK, before you see 1 for MGM, but it happens

I am happy with buses. My favorite part about staying on property, is no driving :thumbsup2

I must have missed the question you asked me about what resort would I stay at if it was a once time trip. SOrry about that

Tough one, but I think I would go with Beach Club. Our favorite parks are Epcot and Hollywood Studos. You can walk to epcot and enter thru their back gate into Epcot

You can take boat to Hollywood Studios. You can take boat to Epcot.

I Just love that area.

Plus, hear the pool is amazing as it has sandy bottom

My dream to stay there one day :lovestruc

Kelly ~ we LOVED BC on our honeymoon! We didn't get to swim but the pool is beautiful!

Head cold is absolutely miserable today. My ears are completely plugged so I have a constant humming going on. Then it buzzes when I talk. Plus I can't hear. Freaking lovely. :sad2:

I think the Contemporary looks really cool to me but seems so pricey. With that one it actually is cheaper to stay at the GCH at Disneyland.

Planning is the BEST!!!
