Just popped on for a sec to see if an updates

Glad she finally got a room last night

I have to leave for work in a few mins

feel free to text me with any update

thanks :goodvibes

I am going to update in a minute. I heard from her overnight.

I've been called by someone at my work and have had to troubleshoot something on every trip I've taken. At least with the last one it was a quick Q & A and I was off the phone within a couple of minutes ;)

Whoohoo, that rocks! :woohoo:

She is in our prayers - sending P&PD her way!

Yes, that process from emergency room to being admitted and actually getting things done takes so very long :headache: I hope the tests can determine something quickly.

From the home front we're settling back in. I've finally got my TR going and am happy about that. So much fun to look back through the pics and read over the TR notes I took on my phone while in the park. Helps fight back the post-Disney blues.

Work has been colorful, we've been having some network slowdown issues that we haven't been able to diagnose and are having to bring in a "hired gun" to help us. First time we've ever had to do that :sad1:

On top of that our primary and secondary HVAC systems for our server room both failed withing 24hrs of each other and I got a call at 5:30am yesterday from a user saying she couldn't get to server resources. I tried remotely but ended up driving in only to find an oven of a server room with tripped breakers, crashed servers, and a whole lot of overheat warnings!

Took hours to get everything back up and running properly and get someone to fix the HVAC. I still don't trust our failover AC unit so I'm working with our facilities people to install another failover unit that could keep things from completely cooking if this scenario repeats.

On the home front my mother in law is home from the hospital (you will see the story of that pan out in my TR). She is doing much better now that she is home. I unfortunately caught some sort of head cold as soon as I came back, possibly on the return flight. I'm home sick today and am just thankful that both Roxy and I stayed well during the trip (other than her ankles).

Hope y'all are having a good day!

I am glad to hear the MIL is better and at home.

Wow, that could have been real bad at work. Thankfully it waited until you got home. Too bad about the cold. Hopefully its the last of the season.

I hope you feel better have a good day.

I got a message from Leah overnight. She has colitis with a twist in her colon with a possible abscess. They were going to give her another scan and a colonoscopy. They have her on some major pain medicines and she is pretty scared.

I sent her all of our love and told her that we are all praying.

Yikes! Sounds like work has been carazy!!! Sorry things are so rough there right now. Ugh! I hope the "hired gun" and new a/c units fix the problems and they do not repeat. Really sounds like a PITA. I'm surprised they had to call in someone. I thought you were the genius there :goodvibes

I had no idea your MIL was in the hospital. I'm glad she is home now though. Can't wait to read your TR. Sorry to hear you caught a cold from the flight home. And Roxy's ankles. Geesh, when it rains it pours. Things can only look up from here, right?

Glad she got a room but ugh that sounds awful!!! I'm praying for her. Wish I was close enough to go and sit with her in the hospital.

Baby J Update: They got home late last night and things are going great. I spoke with Angie this morning and she sounds in much better spirits. She's more relaxed and rested and says she doesn't even feel like she had surgery, bless her heart. They can't have visitors for at least 2 weeks :guilty: but as soon as they get the all clear from the pediatrician we are gonna zoom our happy little butts over there. Thanks again for all the prayers and thoughts. God is good!! :goodvibes

Hi guys. I got another message from Leah and this is what it said;

Thanks Chele. Tell Carla I am so happy and will continue to pray. I also have some kind of infection am on strong antibiotics. I'm just thankful they are trying to fix it. He almost sent me home last night saying just colitis. When i said oh O.k it just doesn't feel the same. The pain is different he decided to do a CT scan also. That's when they found everything else. I know it's because of Prayer

I am glad that I decided to tell her about Baby J. I thought it might make her feel good about something and it obviously did.

That's what I told her. If she hadn't spoke like she did she would just get much sicker with the infection.

Oh I am a firm believer in prayer.

I know there is a lot going on around here, and Leah is sick. But I hope y'all can make some room in your prayers for me...

I finally started my IVF cycle this Monday. I am taking an enormous amount of meds. Today I had my first check...and there will be many more to come...ending with the actual procedure in about a week and a half (so the last weekend in April). The actual date will depend on how my body continues to respond to the meds. So far, it's really iffy. I'm nervous because I was hoping to see something a little different today. But it IS still early.

Oh I'm glad you told her about Baby J! Tell her thank you for the continued prayers and that I'm continuing to pray for her too. Prayer is definitely powerful and I'm so glad that she told them something else didn't feel right and they found the other stuff.

Yes, WDW!! Next year should be a long year, I am planning the trip for November.

Thanks Kelly me too!

I knew that hearing about Baby J would be a good thing!

Hi again. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers. Pain is getting better. Of course I am on some major pain meds!;)
As of now I am NPO possibly start clear liquids tonight or in the a.m. and get to have a colonoscopy Fri. now! Yuck! I really want them to find the problem and fix it. I have one doctor saying there is an abcess One saying no because the white blood cell count is fine. One saying a twist in the colon and 1 saying no and the other saying lets clean her out and see.
Fixing to have to go as they are coming back in to INVADE me again!!! :scared1:

About baby J. As hard as it is not to accept visitors and believe me I know it's hard. I am a people person. It is worth it. I had to do it with Braeton for a very long time. Then when family or someone would come over even if he wasn't getting held by them EVERYONE washed their hands with soap and water and then used germex later. Also if anyone smokes that's coming over you can ask them not to smoke before they come and wear clean clothes. Or they can ask for the hospital gowns from the NICU. The hospital sent them home for us.

O.k. everything is getting blurry. I'm off for now
Good night. Be back later or in a bit. Who knows:confused3
