Got it! Said I was her first AP person with the new rates. Not as good as last year, but I'll take it!
3 rooms at POR, May 17 - 24th, $109, which is $121.52 a night with tax.
I may not be keeping them, however, since I think the SoG overflow rates are less, with no tax.

You DO pay tax on SOG overflow rates. I have the the overflow rate for March 16-19 at POR ~~ was just charged $121.54 for the first night, which is $109 plus tax. We've had SOG overflow rates many times and there always has been tax applied.

Just got off the phone with very nice CM who said no AP or FL resident rates yet for our 4/29 trip. Was quoted $320+tax/nt for AKL std savannah view. Yikes!

For those who've been asking - YES! Concierge rooms ARE made available at AP rates. I've gotten many a room with these great codes. Some were booked on the day the codes became available, others were booked from my cell phone on our way down to FLA

Keep calling!!!!! I just posted saying they messed up but my husband just called again and we were able to get it!!! We did not call the 1-800 # this time but the 407-W-DISNEY!!!!

I don't get this. Why is it working sometimes and not for others? How are you phrasing it specifically? Are you just coming right out and saying I'd like to apply for EWY to my reservation?

I called CRO and asked about AP code rates and the CM spouted off the code letters before I could even say them. I was able to book 2 rooms at WL for our trip (May 8-15) for $139 standard room. Rate for POFQ would be $109 standard room. Thanks to poster who passed on the info!

I just called and spoke to VERY nice CM - Henderson- who said that people have been calling all night and he has been checking to no avail but that the AP code EWP worked for the caller before me! He was so excited for me and then it did not work on my ressie. I asked if I could check other Disney resorts and he said that they are installing the code right now. He admitted he was not exactly sure of the logistics but that the code takes hours to install and will work for some names before others (apparently on some sort of a rolling basis) BUT...HE TOLD ME THE RATE WOULD BE AVAILABLE TO ALL AP HOLDERS TOMORROW MORNING!!!!!

AKL - Standard View = $139 + Tax
WL - Standard View - $139 + Tax
Poly - Standard View - $254 + Tax
GF - Garden View - $294 + Tax
BW - Standard View - $234 + Tax

These rates seem much higher than last years AP Rates. I wonder if Disney bases their AP Rate prices on current occupancy. Still much better than rack!

Are you sure these rates are higher than last year? Remember you are talking regular season for deluxes. Value season won't start until July 5.

Yippee!!! I just got off the phone with CRO and got the AP rate applied to my reservation. She said they weren't out yet either. I gave her the code and she checked and found them. She applied them for me and I got Pop at $74/night. Now my husband is saying he wants to stay at POR. We have the Grand Gatherings. My DD, DH and their baby as well as my 2 sons, my other son and his DW and baby are also going but don't really want to spend more for a resort and want to stay at POP. So we are going to split our stay the first 5 nights at POP and the last 5 or 6 at POR.

Now I'm back on the phone changing our plans. We'll see if they tell me there are no AP rates out now.

BTW when I was on the phone with CRO the first time, the CM was talking with another CM. They were both talking about how the discounts will be coming out on 4/1 for Florida residents. I meant to ask about codes for the general public but forgot.

Thank you. I was told that by another person when she called SoG today. They said she could stop and pay at SoG and there would be no taxes. Guess just more misinfo. Is SoG finally out of rooms? They still had some when we last tried, so we couldn't book the overflow yet.

The CM my husband spoke to said something about the code not showing up in his system but he said he would check some sort of other reservation system and see if just had not updated on his system yet. He put my husband on hold and then came back said it was available and then with no problems applied it to our room. It was for $109 a night at POFQ. When my husband called all he said is that he had heard the code was out and he wanted to apply it to his reservation.

I was just told no by CRO... he said the code was out there but they could not sell it yet. I called the 877 number and now I'm on my cell calling the 407-W-DISNEY number for one more try. Then I'll try in the morning!

I had just given up on codes and booked my air tonight before I saw the post about the code being out. I was trying to hold off on air to be a little flexible with our dates. Oh well! I should have checked Dis first!
