Okay, I made my 4th call! I had a very rude CM by the name of Loretta. When I asked about using a passholder code for May she said, "There are none." I then asked if there was a code EWY and she said "No." And a very sarcastic "Thanks for calling Disney" goodbye. Ugh. I can't believe this.

hubby just called and they said that code is in the system and they just found out that they are not supposed to be booking it yet...sooo if your lucky to get a cm who overrides the system then your in luck...for us...in isnt a great deal anyways...we had gotten a code a month back where we got pop for 59 a night for june and the ap is for 78 a night....oh tomorrow morning is gonna be busy busy for disney disney...

Oh Thank God! I saved $700.00 Poly GV one week stay with AP code EWY.

Very nice CM who booked it. I said, Thank you! You're the 3rd CM I've called. The others wouldn't give me the rate!"
He said, "Uh-oh. Let me check with my manager."

He came back and said, ""You got lucky. We aren't supposed to book this until tomorrow morning. My manager says you can have it tonight, though."

He went on to say that the rate IS in the system, but they are not allowed to book it until tomorrow. I apologized and hoped he didn't get into trouble. I think he got reprimanded for giving me the rate, but it is a done deal now! Good luck tomorrow, everyone!

P.S. I say keep calling tonight until you get someone who books it for you!

Well, I am on my third call tonight and finally got someone to admit there is a code. However, castmember "Charles" is giving me a real hard time about having my annual pass *now*. He asked if I had an AP number. I told him no, but planned on buying it within the next couple weeks. He said I needed the pass to get the rate. I said, do I need it to book or upon check-in. Then he said, okay, on check-in. I was getting scared. Then he reminded me twice that I needed that pass or else.....

But the worst part was that there were no standard-view rooms available at either AKL or WL during our visit. I had him hold a pool-view until tomorrow, but don't think we want to spend that much. What to do...

I just called and spoke to VERY nice CM - Henderson- who said that people have been calling all night and he has been checking to no avail but that the AP code EWP worked for the caller before me! He was so excited for me and then it did not work on my ressie. I asked if I could check other Disney resorts and he said that they are installing the code right now. He admitted he was not exactly sure of the logistics but that the code takes hours to install and will work for some names before others (apparently on some sort of a rolling basis) BUT...HE TOLD ME THE RATE WOULD BE AVAILABLE TO ALL AP HOLDERS TOMORROW MORNING!!!!!

I just called to see if we could split our stay with POP and POR. Already got the discount on POP but now tried to see if it was available for POR and the very nice CM put me on hold. She came back and said that guest services told me that these rates are going to be released tomorrow. She said that I really shouldn't have gotten that discount, didn't know how I got it, but that she knows that several have gotten the discount already. So it seems that CRO has put a stop on the discounts for tonight.

I have to set my alarm clock extra early as I am calling tomorrow at 7:00 am!! I need to be out of the door for work by 7:20, so I hope I make it on time!

You are exactly right, as I have a friend that works in CRO. Some agents will jump the gun under pressure from calling guests and prebook before the actual release date. Those that got in early should be fine, others will have to wait.

And those CM's that did book early will be reprimanded. Some have lost their jobs if they do it often.

I got the EWY rate. I think the EWP rate is for Florida resident. The CM told me that was being released 4/1, but I'm not sure if that is correct.

I never even thought about paying at SOG!! No one from there has ever mentioned that to me ~ I wonder if that would really work I will definitely ask them next time I call. They were out of rooms for my March dates, but I'd asked about overflow for April and they still had 5 rooms left at SOG for my dates! Guess I'll give them a few more days and then call back! It's great that you can now check on dates at the web-site ~ it's not completely accurate, but at least it gives you a general idea as to what certain dates look like. Now that they've expanded SOG it's a bit harder to get overflow.

2. Do I just ask for the code, or should I ask for the resort that I want the most?

3. If there are none available for the resort that I want, should I ask them to check another resort?

I just talked to CRO and asked for the discount. I was told that it is not available yet. She was very nice and apologized for not being able to do anything for me.

BTW - She said that they were told that the AP rates will be out tomorrow. Right now the screens come up with gibberous (sp) which means it will not let them book but will be able to tomorrow.
