I couldn't watch the video without weeping for the family.
I also can understand why they feel the desperate need to blame someone else. But the mother, as an attorney, should know better, especially if you are unwilling to see the video, you cannot proclaim fault.
I can see
RCCL settling, but I think it really depends on what the video shows. It will all turn on whether it was reasonable for the grandfather to conclude that there was no glass, and all of the issues with the railing, etc will be brought up. Is it reasonable for the grandfather to stand a baby on a railing and let go even if there were glass there?
A jury will see the video if this goes to court. And I think that is more detrimental to the parents than it would be to RCCL.
