Things to look for on Amtrak from D/C - Lorton

We will be traveling via Amtrak next month to disney. I am looking for any info about important things to look our for on the train trip and what things I could have the kids look out the windows to see. Is there a web site that shows the directions that the train takes so we can look out for certain sites? Any info/pictures on/out of the train would be greatly appreciated! Lynn

You will see lots and lots of junk yards, small towns, baseball fields, train stations that are a small shack and large beautiful stations along the way.
