The snoasis guy has mastered his snowball over the last 30 years! Each year the Ice in it gets BETTER and Better! He has the best Ice shaver machine on earth! LOL
Man all this talk about snowballs... I may have to stop there on the way home from White Marsh Mall today! LOL

You are CRAZY!! I need to find some stores for my girls that we don't have back home. They want some clothes that no one else will have. We have Americal Eagle and all of that. Any ideas? Looking for good prices too.

Hey, good news!! DH called and said that he got some good info on DC for me, he had to hear it from someone he knows I guess. He EVEN said that I should be able to take the kids by my self during the week. THANK GOODNESS!! I have been so worried that we would not be able to see & do everything there, just going on the weekends. This is great news for me. He is just so darn over protective!! I felt sure that we could handle it, if he would just turn me loose.

He is going to talk to me about it tonight.

Snoasis has never been my favorite. The soft shave of the ice means the syrup doesn't reach the bottom. We used to go there after rock climbing at Earth Treks. We prefer "The House" on Reisterstown Road, a few blocks north of Owings Mills Blvd, next to the Sunoco.

I think that is why we love the snowballs here so much. Back home when we get snow cones, the flavor is gone quick, plus the ice is nothing like the ice here, oh and the flavors... for get it. Ours are no where close to anything like this! Plus, who would have thought to put marshmellow on top of that?!?

Maybe I should open one up back home. I could get rich!

if Snoasis trys to screw you on syrup... U just walk your butt back up to the window and say... MORE syrup please! LOL
also, NEVER use a straw with a snowball! It will mess it up for sure!
Trying to think of store we have that you wouldn't ... But I am guessing we mostly have the same store, Hollister, ambercrombie, american Eagle, Justice...etc...
What about when you go to the Harbor getting something from Hard Rock CaFe, tshirt or something. Too bad our ESPN zone just closed a couple weeks ago...they had decent stuff but something with Baltimore on it that the kids back at home would not have had. So maybe do that and get something at Hard Rock instead.... If I think of any other stores, I'll let you know.

My snowball man sets up shop for the winter in Fort Myers right on the beach. So, there is at least one snowball stand in FL (from October to May).

Also, I asked him about the koldkiss marshmallow and he says it actually comes as a powder (in a huge quantity) and he mixes water with it. Man, I wish I could buy that stuff in the grocery store.

My husband and I love the marshmallow!!!! One day I will order it! Or my next trip to MD I will drive down and get a huge tube to take home!! Have you tried Nerds in your snowball...that is good too!

Nerds in a snowball??? You guys are killing me!! I may also need to order some marshmello cream too before we leave. I have fallen in love with it.

It's funny that extream home makeover is here now. My DD watches that show all of the time. I used to, but I would sit there and cry the whole hour so I quit. I do think that they are doing great things though.

So today we decided to go see new Twilight movie. DD wanted to see it in an Imax theater so we found one over by White Marsh Mall, which I had only heard from from my new dear friend Jenn, so I felt like it would be a safe place to go. We loved the movie and we love that area over there.

After the movie we went over to the mall and looked around for a little while. We went into the Disney Store and they had a good sale on so we loaded up on beach towels and a few other things. My key chain from Disney World just broke so I replaced it today. That was kind of sad, but I found a cute one. Lauren looked all over Disney World for some kind of stuffed animal from Alice in Wonderland and we couldn't find one. Well, they had one today at the Disney store and it's so cute! I really liked that store much better than the one where I live. It was almost three times the size so it was easy to get around in there. Very nice!

Jenn, I LOVED that mall!! It was so nice. We have got to go back soon to do a little shopping.

If you guys love to shop... you really should check out Tysons Corner (largest of the three) Columbia, and Towson Town Center! Tysons is the farthest... Towson Town is inbetween Owings Mills and White Marsh... U passed it on the way today!

Twilight was great! I am telling you, Jake is HOT! Lauren, my oldest, has read all of the books. She read them before the movies even started coming out, and she says that if you knew how things were going to end, you would be on team Edward. It would be a hard choice for me though, and this movie shows her struggle with it. Let me know what you think after you see it.

I got a call last night from a lady who has been helping me set up a tour of the White House. She has one for us at 7:30 on a Saturday morning. I am worried about making it from here on time. We would have to drive in because we can't take anything in to the white house with us. What do you think?

Oh that will be great!! So much fun! I haven't been in there since I was a kid.
I would leave around 6 to have enough time. I am so anal I would leave 545 prob. Lol
I always drive down there. It's usually pretty easy to park and at that hour you should be good to go!

I think it will be fun too!! The lady that I spoke to said that we should be able to drive with no problem. She said that we should be able to find a parking place close to the White House. She also said that she could provide parking for us later at the Capital, but that is pretty far away from the White House.

When you go, where do you park & could we leave our car there all day? I am taking the kids one day this week so I can get a feel for it then. Our tour is set for the 10th, so I have a little time.

Have you been outside today??? It feels GREAT out there. I went to the store at 11:00 and it was 70 outside.

DH called and wants to take the kids to Harpers Ferry Saturday. He said it's beautiful there.

We usually find a road spot along the "mall" area. We've always left our car in the same place all day. But you could move it if you didn't want to walk. I'd just grab a cab if I were you and you needed to get somewhere not In walking distance. For two reasons if it's nice it will be crowded by the time your get ready to move the car. And second the roads down there, way confusing if you ask me!
When u do go with the kids during the week, leave after rush hour and either stay down there till after dinner or leave by 3. Dc traffic is brutal!
Harpers ferry is very quaint! Very patriotic to go there this weekend!! Have

Great advice. I hope that after this week we will have a better feel for it. I just found out that Lauren has to have her ID with her to get into the White House, and it's in ALABAMA!! I am talking to my BFF now to see if she will go to my house and get it for me and mail it to me. It's CRAZY!!

WHERE?? I just went to the tanning bed and they were full of people in there getting pedicures!!

I was at Tips Toes & Tans, or something like that.

My friend is going to go get her ID for me, but she has to get the key from my neighbor. I have called my neighbor this morning and they are not home!! They are ALWAYS home. Hopefully she will get my message and call me back.

update: neighbor just called me back & everything is set. Thank goodness!!
