Right now my glasses are blue but I only wear them at morning or at night. I wear contacts 90% of the time. I went for larger frames this last time because I was tired of the same frames over and over. We actually get our glasses at Target Optical. They have such an awesome deal for kids.
I was up early and finished a pillow case and started the last dress for our trip. I still need to pack but we are going to go and do crafts at church this morning, then my sister is watching J and Sami so C and I can get our hair cut. Aunt Franni Rocks.
Yes we leave on Sunday and no packing has been done.
Have a wonderful trip and enjoy your family.
I love your newest frames - they are super cute on you!

I plan on going to Target optical later this week, I just found out that I can stack my discounts... So, I can use our vision insurance, then add my team member discount and my red card 5%.

Target does carry the brands that we want, but I am not sure they carry the exact frames we want? So, I need to see if they can order them.
I loved everyone's new hair cuts! Miss C looks so grown up!
I"ve been following along on FB - it looks like you are having a great time!
Thanks - you too!!!
I think both pairs look great on you and the brown ones should be fine with everything just like the black ones. I say get the ones you like the best!
It sounds like you have a fun weekend and busy weekend ahead of you. Take lots of pictures of those puppies for us!
Have a wonderful Easter.
Thanks! LOL That's the hard part - I like them both. LOL Maybe the brown ones just a hair more...
I tried to take lots of pictures... Honest, but for some reason, I didn't end up with that many.
Thank you - I hope you had a wonderful Easter too!
Your weekend sounds busy but lots of fun, too. Have fun seeing your puppy. I hope the weather is nice. I've enjoyed the return of warm weather and have been walking during my lunch hour once again. I've also been sleeping better, too, now that I'm getting some real exercise again.
I've been lucky to have been able to go without glasses so far, and considering I'm a grandma now, that is pretty long. I got a pair once, bifocals - yuck, but I never wore them. Now I just buy those $10 reading glasses they sell in the drugstore. I need to put them on once in awhile to read really small print, but that's about it. I've had a theory that wearing glasses makes your eyes dependent and therefore weaker. I don't think there is any scientific evidence out there to back up my theory, though. If you notice, most people who wear glasses need a stronger prescription regularly. You seem to be unique in having your eyes get better. So, anyway, my theory about eyeglasses is still a theory. But so far it has worked for me.
We had a nice Easter - thank you!
I know - I love having nice weather again - it's been a little chilly here the last couple of days... but at least it's not freezing. LOL
That is amazing! I think your theory makes total sense. I just hate wearing them, it seems like they are always in the way. Yes, I can see better - but I don't feel like I can see badly with out them either. I am hoping to make it in to Target optical this week and find out if they can order the frames we like - since they do carry those brands. That would be really nice!
I like both pairs of glasses on you. Get what you are comfortable with. I got my first pair of reading glasses in the fall. I only put them on when I just cannot make out what I am trying to read.
Yesterday we just made over 60 degrees
Safe travels, enjoy those puppies, tell your dad hello , and just have a great time!
Have a great Easter and cannot wait till you share those puppy pics.
Thanks! I am leaning towards the brown ones, but if I do brown - I am definitely doing black next year.
Thanks - we had a nice Easter, I hope you did too! I am so excited to share puppy pics!
I like both pairs on you. The black ones are very much like my sunglasses. My frames are brown.
Your weekend sounds very busy but fun.
I'm working today and tomorrow. After work tomorrow I have some baking to do.
Sunday we're going to my nieces for Easter dinner. She only lives about 6 miles away.
Have a Happy Easter.
Liz
Thanks! I am leaning towards the brown - but I dunno... I need to see if Target optical can get those frames, they don't have those exact ones onine - but they do carry thoe brands.
I Hope you had a nice holiday weekend, even though you had to work.
I hope this isn't a huge pic, but this is my machine. It's a singer 201-2. This pic is courtesy of google since my workroom is a huge mess right now, lol.
I still have it in the original art deco cabinet, I am too afraid to take it out, lol.
This is a beautiful machine... I cannot remember the difference between the 201-2 and the 15-91... I think the 201 is belt driven? Mine is gear driven, I know that for sure...
Both of my machines came in a cabinet... Neither of them are in the cabinets now. V uses her cabinet as a dressing table in her room and the othe one we have in our kitchen to charge our phones on.
What a beautiful machine and you are lucky to have the cabinet.
I know - it is beautiful!
Wait.....how did I miss a whole week?! Well, I'm all caught up again now. Look!!! Chiara is back Hi Chiara!!
I can't wait until you get this puppy. Can't wait to see him with MM!
I like both glasses.....but I think the brown are a little softer on your face. But either one will be great.
Hope you have a wonderful Easter tomorrow!
Hahaha... Yes, so excited that Chiara is back!
I know - I cannot wait to introduce them! MM smelled the puppy on me yesterday, but - still - was very unimpressed. He only sniffed me for about 3 seconds, then he was back to getting his much missed lovin'. LOL
I hope you had a great Easter too!
*****************************************************************************************
Well, we had a nice Easter weekend...
We visited my Dad twice... The first time on the way out - to take him for ice cream for his birthday. And on the way back to visit for Easter.
We also had a great time visiting other family and friends... it was great to see people that I haven't seen in a few years.
And, of course... The puppies. We did decide on little Adam... He is just so cute. He is the "big guy" of the litter - the oldest and the biggest... And - we are in love! He loves to cuddle - but he also loves to play. For some reason, I didn't get any photos of Allison with Cooper? It looks like we won't be able to pick him up until the weekend of May 5th... Unless we can do a turn-around trip one day? Which gets to be long, with 6 hours of drive time, with out traffic. So, we will see if we can get our schedules to coordinate any better than that. He is going to be so big by the time we get him home... The puppies just started eating solid food on Friday... and Momma is already starting to get sick of them.
Cooper is in the center
Hahaha... V spelled his name wrong... It really is supposed to be Cooper.
We still have lots to do to prep our house for a puppy though... So, maybe it's a good thing that we can't bring him home so soon?
Otherwise, we had a great weekend. We had a nice Easter. I hope all of you did too.
Today, it's back to work on my next custom order. I will be working on some other bags as time permits this week.
I hope you all have a wonderful day! Prayers and good thoughts to all of you!
