I love the picture with the cat and puppies sleeping. :lovestruc

Thanks Lillian - it's just so nice to have you back.

I sure hope you are able to get these headaches under control - I cannot imagine having to live with them every day.

How is your kitty doing today? :lovestruc

It's nice to be back as well
My cat is doing better, Thanks  He ate for the first time yesterday so that's good. I haven't seen him eating as much today.

Joining in, and hoping to keep up. I am so excited to read all about the Guerts Gals plans! :dogdance:

Oh, those puppies are just so sweet! I would take them all. So excited that you get to go visit the puppies and play with them.

V has some serious talent. That picture was amazing. Hope Alli's doctor's appointment goes well.

Glad your machine is up and running again. Hope you are feeling better.

It's official, my nephew and his family are all moved into their new home as of today. I said my goodbye's to the little one over the weekend. Oh how I cried. Made it worse when she jumped into my arms and wrapped herself around me and said "Love you". I know they are doing what is best for themselves, but oh how I will miss them.

Have a great day!

the puppies are so cute!

How old with the puppy be once you take it home? I don't remember when you said they were born?

I hope A has a good dr. visit.
I'm about to take one of my girls for a recheck at the dr. She strained her achilles heel, and spent most of february not being able to walk. Then walking with a limp in March. I'm hoping she gets the all clear to resume all normal activity.

I know... I just want to cuddle them. The puppies were born on March 7th... She would like them to come home at about 7-8 weeks. :thumbsup2

Alli did have a good Dr. visit... They took a bunch of blood and ran a bunch of tests... Along with a Dr.'s note to excuse her from the school she missed last week and any that she misses over the next month.

Good luck... I sure hope your dd gets the "all clear" from her Dr.

I love the picture with the cat and puppies sleeping.

My cat is doing better, Thanks He ate for the first time yesterday so that's good. I haven't seen him eating as much today.

I know - it almost makes me want a cat. LOL

Oh good - what a relief to hear... I am sure it will take time for your cat to get back to eating normally.

Joining in, and hoping to keep up. I am so excited to read all about the Guerts Gals plans!

ASHLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've missed you! And that precious little boy of yours - I bet he is well into his toddling years by now? I was literally just thinking of you the other day, and wondering how you are doing... I hope you'll give me a little update and post pictures of your little one. Welcome back! I hope this means you have another trip in the works?

I know - I am so excited... I cannot wait to play with them this weekend! Be ready to a bazillion puppy pictures! ::yes::

Thanks... I am very proud of her! I really hope that she is able to do something with it - as it's something that really brings her joy.

Alli's appt went well... They took blood and ran some tests.

I know - such a relief!

Awww... That is so sad Lynee! I cried like a baby when BMT left - and we didn't spend nearly as much time with them as you did.... I sure hope you get to see them a little more often. It's so hard...

You too! Thanks!

Hi,

Adam is a doll!

Thanks Michele! He is really growing on me... Now to cuddle him, to see if he loves me back. ::yes::

************************************************************************************

I took Alli to the Dr. yesterday morning... She ran a bunch of blood work... Some of the results are back and they are normal.... Others are not back yet. Since Alli was fasting - the Dr ran just a bunch of routine bloodwork, on top of some of the mono stuff. The Dr also gave Alli a note excusing her from the school she missed last week and anything she misses over the next month. At the moment, Alli has the cold I had last week and she is pretty miserable - which is causing her lymphnodes to swell again... It seems to be a vicious cycle we are in. :scratchin

Afterwards, I came home and worked like crazy... All day long and even for a while after dinner. I am just loving this bag and having a blast making it! The colors are TDF!

Today... I'll be doing my heavy lifting shortly.

Then it's a Target day... Sigh.

I might have ambition to finish the applique on this bag I am workiing on tonight... If not, I will do it tomorrow. It's my goal to get 3 full bags done this week... Which is A LOT. Normally - I do one... And if I am ambitious, two... So 3... Well - it's a lot of overtime for me. But as of now, I am right on track to do that. ::yes:: Which is awesome!

Sorry - no puppy pictures today... There will be lots of them next weekend, so maybe prepare yourselves now? LOL

Have a great day everyone! Prayers and good thoughts go out to all of you! :grouphug:

Sigh, no puppy pictures...okay, preparing myself for the onslaught.:love:

I have my puppies scheduled for the kennel while we are on our trip, but I found a co-worker that is willing to house sit/dog sit for us. Now to just get Dunkin (the dog in my avatar) to not want to eat the Pirate Fairy (her nickname as she wears Pirate Fairy wings whenever she works at the store). Not sure it will work, but we will give it a try!

Hope your Target day goes well!

Lynn

I'm glad to hear that Alli's blood work that has come back is normal. Crossing my fingers that the rest of the tests are normal as well.

Here shops and other services closes early tomorrow and will be closed Thursday and Friday. Since I haven't seen my cat eating much yesterday and today I decided to call the vet and get them to look at him to see that everything is ok. My cat didn't react well to the anesthesia he got on Friday. So they decided to try and take some X-rays while he was full awake. Surprisingly that went well. They found out that he had a lot of air in his system, but it didn't look like anything was blocking the path inside of him. He didn't want to eat anything at the vet but he pooped :yay: That is a huge relief since he hasn't done that at home. They thought he might be nauseous and that's why he haven't eaten much. So he got something for that. When I got him home he went straight to the food. He ate a little. So now I'm crossing my fingers that everything will go back to normal soon.

When my daughter Kody had mono in high school it seemed like she was sick forever. The Dr gave her an endless Drs excuse. She more time asleep than awake and it took a long time to get her energy back. I hope Alli starts to feel better soon!

I need to get back to my magnet making but I took a break to make birthday presents for my mom and oldest daughter. They share a birthday on Friday.

Just saying hi! Following along, and really enjoying reading your daily updates!

Oh those puppy photos are amazing! I'm really wishing we would have planned an Easter trip to my cousins in Hinckley. I have that "need" to get out of the house for a few days fever. Speaking of Target I need to make a list. Happy Easter:)

Following!! I hope you feel better! Get plenty of rest. Those puppies are so cute!!! I can't wait to read more from your PTR!

I am back. I'm just too far behind to comment, but I should be able to keep up starting Monday after I catch up everywhere. I am just LOVING the puppy pictures...so darn cute.

Thanks for more puppy pictures!!! :lovestruc

Hope you all are feeling much better. This has been such a bad time of the year with flu bugs and what not all going around. My daughter was sick last week with the flu, then my dad was sick with it and lucky me I got this past weekend. I'm now just starting to feel better. Prayers that everyone gets better!

Hehehe... You know I am quite secretive Lynn. ::yes::

I know - this is two days with out puppy pictures... There will be more - I promise!

Yay that you've found someone to take your puppies so you don't have to kennel them. I've never had my dogs in a kennel before -and it sort of petrifies me. I'd much prefer them to stay with people we know.

Thanks - it did. :lovestruc

Can't wait for the sneak peak of the bag.

Hehehe... I don't think there will be one? I am dying to share - but I am pretty secretive about these things.

Aww, I hope Allison feels better soon. Being sick sucks.

3 bags! That just makes my heart go pitter patter. I have decided that your bags are an addiction for me.

Thanks Ariana... I am not sure if she is feeling better this morning? I told her yesterday that she has to go to school today, because it's their last day before Easter break... So she is up and getting ready - but we have yet to have a conversation. ::yes::

Awww... I love that you love them so much!

What a relief that you decided to take your cat into the vet - I think that was a good kitty momma decision. ::yes:: I sure hope that everything is back to normal soon - just a relief to find out that there was nothing else going on.

Yes... It's so frustrating. It seems like anything and everything sends her into a flare up... Thankfully the flare-ups only last a day or two and she is back to normal. It's so frustrating for all of us.

Oooh - Happy Birthdya to your mom and dd! That's cool! :woohoo:

Just saying hi! Following along, and really enjoying reading your daily updates!

Hi Welcome!!! It's awesome to have you here! Thanks for stopping by and saying hello! :lovestruc

Oh those puppy photos are amazing! I'm really wishing we would have planned an Easter trip to my cousins in Hinckley. I have that "need" to get out of the house for a few days fever. Speaking of Target I need to make a list. Happy sewing!

Hahaha... I know - those puppies are adorable... I cannot wait to see them all in person! ::yes::

Thanks! I am hoping to get a lot done today.

Following!! I hope you feel better! Get plenty of rest. Those puppies are so cute!!! I can't wait to read more from your PTR!

Hi! Welcome! Thanks for stopping by to say hi! :) Thanks - I am feeling much better - I forgot to mention that... :thumbsup2

I know- they are so cute and irresistible!!!! I love them already... It's going to be an interesting summer in our house. ::yes::

I am back. I'm just too far behind to comment, but I should be able to keep up starting Monday after I catch up everywhere. I am just LOVING the puppy pictures...so darn cute.

Welcome back Kathy!!! I saw many of your pictures on FB - it looks like you had a great time!

I know - those puppies... They get cuter every day. ::yes::

Thanks for more puppy pictures!!! :lovestruc

Hope you all are feeling much better. This has been such a bad time of the year with flu bugs and what not all going around. Anytime. LOL

Well, I am finally feeling better - I forgot to mention that... but Alli has it now... Sigh. As long as JOsh doesn't get it... He is not the best sickie in the world. LOL

I hope you are feeling better soon too!

**************************************************************************************************

I did my heavy lifting yesterday... I bumped up my deadlifts by quite a bit... I figured I'd be much more sore this morning. ::yes::

Then I was at Target yesterday... It was a decent day.

I came home and finished that applique...

Then I made dinner and sat on my tablet all night. Oh and I watched 19 Kids and Counting... I love that show!

Today... I will work out as soon as the girls are off to school... Allison is going in today - whether she likes it or not... It's their last day of school before Easter break.

Then I will be working upstairs all day.

The girls and I all have eye appointments tonight... So, I will be busy doing that... I suspect it will take a few hours. ::yes:: By the time we all do our exams and if we need to pick out new glasses - it's been several years since I've had new frames (but it's hard to justify them, when I never wear them) - so I might decide to get a new pair. Especially since my face has changed shape so much - it might actually be fun to get a new pair? ::yes::

It's also supposed to be 70° here today (with a chance of showers) - if it's not raining and lunch time, I will take an hour out of my day to tan... I could use some vitamin D. ::yes::

I hope you all have a wonderful day!!! Prayers and good thoughts go out to all of you! :grouphug:

A has to feel better.. this sick thing is really taking TOOOO LONG! the puppies are the cutest on the planet
How is the hedgehog?

I had an eye exam last night. I got new glasses last year but since I wear contacts they should last me many years. I only wear my glasses for an hour in the morning and an hour at night. The eye doctor bumped me up one level on my prescription and I can definitely see a little better far distance. Boy though my close vision is a mess this morning, everything on my computer is blurry. He did warn me that might happen so it looks like I will be going back to the old prescription and living with a little blurriness on far distances.

I have always kenneled mine. The first kennel I used I loved because they had huge indoor outdoor runs and my then dogs LOVED the place. But it was quite a haul from my house (45 min...with two 100lb+ dogs in the car at the time got to be quite much). The place I kennel now I found when we had a house fire 6 years ago. It was right before 4th of July and I was having a hard time finding someplace to kennel them (everyone was booked, and we were in a hotel). My vet suggested this place, said they helped a lot of folks out that headed here after Katrina. So we got to know them pretty well since the dogs ended up being kenneled there for 4 months. It is also very close to home. So I was able to visit the pups daily at that time (once we got in a rental house for that period). And they have gotten to know the new pups too.(the other two I ended up having to put down both within 6 months of each other)The big dog has some issues that we have to work on before we can feel comfortable leaving him with the Pirate Fairy. But she will start coming to the house this week. And if it does not work out we will kennel them.

Have a good day!

Lynn

I am finally all caught up.

Puppies! I am speechless, they are too cute. I don't know how you would get anything done all day.

A huge and sincere congratulations to your weight loss. I took a peak at your blog and then saw your last photo, I think my jaw literally dropped! Just incredible.

Jonah is doing so well, thank you for asking. He is such a flirt, I have other moms tell me all the time I am in trouble. It's adorable and scary at the same time!

I started working part-time after our January trip last year and had to step away from the DIS to figure out the whole work/life balance. We are hoping (wishing) for a November trip.

Sorry if this is getting too long, but I bought my first vintage sewing machine in November and after looking at Patience, I think my machine maybe her distant relative. They look very similar! I love mine, it glides through upholstery fabric like no other.
