Hey all! I'm home. I had a morning full of chasing kids, tanning, ans spending money that I don't have on new clothes for disney...

I went to Kohls and got 5 new shirts and a cute necklace - all for $75

I got great deals - but probably shouldn't have spent the money....

Oh yeah - and I leave 2 weeks from tomorrow!!!!

Thanks for all the well-wishes and encouragement. I'll definitely try to keep up better and be a more frequent visitor .

Sea - Prayers and pixie dust that you're doing ok with whatever the meeting resulted in.

I ended up not going to the parks today. Went to lunch with a couple friends and then watched Revenge of the Nerds II (we're working our way through all 4 of them), played some Mario Kart Wii and sorta supervised the assembly of a dresser. All in all it was a successful day off. Working EMH tomorrow, which'll be fun...some of my friends who've moved on to other areas have picked up shifts so I'm excited to work with them again.

If I'm not back in tomorrow, hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good morning MAYer!

We are getting thunder this morning. It seems a little early to be getting thunder! I guess a warm front is coming through and that's all it takes. I can hear a lot of thunder and see some lightening, appears to be to the south closer to the city. So much for our sunny day we were supposed to have. Oh well, it is supposed to be 80 for the next 3 days, so I won't complain!!

So glad you are back Sulley! We love hearing all about your WDW CM adventures!! Looks like I'll be there in 8 months 4 weeks and 2 days!! We will make plans to meet up this time!

No house news yet either...I'm still hopeful. Cup half full right.


As far as tickers go...my little monorail is Finally starting to move...

Sulley - have fun tonight and stop in whenever you can. We'll have to make sure we get a hold of you to join us for our mayers meet next may too. We've even been talking about a possible Illuminations cruise, all together.

Sea- I very much hope things are ok.


Still trying to figure out what to do with the kids today...I was going to go to the Detroit Zoo...but I'm rethinking that. We can go with Daddy later, its more fun to go all together.

DH took the day off today with absolutely no warning.

He's out buying a new front door that we desperately need and then he'll be cleaning out the garage so we can put the boat in there this weekend.

I can be at the Detroit Zoo in about 40 minutes. 20 to the border, and the zoo is about 20 minutes from there. Pretty quickly actually, considering its in a whole other country...

They have no idea how personable and awesome I am without speaking to me - all they see from my resume is that I am a girl who went to culinary school who randomly works in a bank now....
