Just looked to make sure at my Cyprus--I actually bought 7's. So they are big one size.

At least it was something other than food. Kim and Sea will be proud. :)

:lmao:

Okay--- I'm off. Going to find some other deals in RL now. hahaha. ( that yes I will be hiding).

Have a good day--- hope the eye appt goes well.

PS--- tell everyone about how proud you are of me b/c of what I've been doing in secret. :lmao:

BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

/
Good grief, must I tell you HOW???:rotfl2:

Okay it will come when he is at work-- better be home that day yourself.;)
Take the box, open it, get your shoes, and HIDE THEM IN YOUR CLOSET.

Take the box, rip it up small and put it in the bottom of the trash can. Place gross chicken bones on top of said box.

When you bust the shoes out in a month-- you must wait a month before wearing them--- he will say "Wow hon, are those new? They're so HFT!!" and you innocently look at him and say "What these? I've had them for a long time."

BECAUSE YOU HAVE !!!!!!!!!!! LONG TIME = A MONTH IN JO'S WORLD.

;)

My MIL has taught me well.

:laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:

Jo, I think you are the most devious woman I have ever known.

BTW, what is "HFT"?

Hi Sea! Hi Shelly!

Hi Shelly!

I briefly looked them over yesterday afternoon. We had a Easter musical to go to last night at my wife's school.

I would definitely like to ride the incline trains. That looks like a lot of fun and I bet the views are fantastic.

I will check out more of the links today since I don't have to go out and see clients today.

Sea

Hello Sea! :goodvibes

Did you and Lena get a chance to look at all the PGH links I gave you?

Hi Mari - Glad you could stop by and see us!!!

KB: - Thank you!

Actually, I am think about buying two new Canon cameras: the first one is 14 megapixel with HD video and stereo recording sound in a POINT AND SHOOT! 28 mm lens and 3" LCD screen. WOW!

The other is a digital SLR. 18 megapixel and HD video, 3.5 LCD screen:

Sea

Oh, that is wonderful! Their show was so great, they are on my must do list from now on :goodvibes BTW, love your camera, it takes such great pics and videos, and the sound is excellent, too...

Hi Mari! :grouphug: Good to see you!

Hey there Mayers...another Disney update for you!

Today I am taking you to Griffith Park and the Merry Go Round that Walt and his daughters use to go to all the time to visit and ride. This is the place where Walt got inspired to build Disneyland!

Griffith Park is five square miles in size in the middle of Los Angeles. It was donated by a Colonel Griffith J. Griffith to the city of LA in December 1986 as a Christmas gift to the city to be used as a public park.

The carousel is located about 5 miles away from WD Studios in Burbank.

The ride runs quite well, but it is poor shape. The horses and the crown are deteriorating and need to be restored. The organ works fabulous! The carousel is open only on the weekends.

It was a wonderful experience and it fun to touch another part of Walt Disney's life in Los Angeles.

I hope you enjoyed a little Disney history with me today!

Morning!!!!

Sea---- wow- how interestingly, hauntingly beautiful!! I could just imagine Walt sitting there. Awwww, thanks so much for sharing it. It was wonderful and made me smile.:goodvibes

KB--- no no no! NOT devious--- INGENIOUS. :lmao: I work well with what I have, what can I say? When I was first married, my MIL (who can shop like no one I've ever seen- :rotfl2:) took me out one day and said "I'm going to teach you how to shop." She bought this $$$ piece of art that she'd been dreaming of for forever, put it in her trunk and left it there for a month. One day my FIL came home to see it hanging on the wall- he said "Hey- that's new?" She said "Um, well, not really- I've had it awhile."

Voila.:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Hello to everyone---

Jo

Hey Mayers. :goodvibes It's been a while! :rolleyes1

It's been crazy at our house for a while - we got hit really bad by that storm and our patio caved in. :sad2: So we've been trying to get a lot of stuff done around the house.... I had oral surgery on Wed to fix a lot of teeth problems that I have been avoiding.... We got our tax return - - so we've been trying to pay off Disney! I make my ADR's on Monday!!!! Ummm, I guess that's about it.... it just seems busier

We decided that we are more than likely upgrading to CSR, so we can stay with the rest of my family :goodvibes but it all depends on our finances at the time.

How is everyone? popcorn::

Thank you Jo - I am glad you liked our adventure.

Morning!!!!

Jo

Hi RF! So glad to see you today! Sorry to hear about the patio and the surgery work that had to be done. Hopefully, you are feeling much better now.

KB and I met up at DL last week and we did a special "shout out" to you.

http://www.youtube.com/tommyflix#p/a/u/0/UAe8OxV_ao0

Very cool to hear about your upgrade to CSR. I think you will like the pool the best. It is a huge place and lots of things to walk around and see.

I hope you can get all of the places you want when you call for your ADRs.

Sea

 Yes!!! I'm so glad I checked in to find out about the shout out video!!!

I have to wait until tonight to see it. YouTube is blocked at work. Lame.

I can't wait! popcorn::

Happy Friday!!! Any big weekend plans? Tomorrow I'm running errands and taking Em to get her age 3 pic taken- a month after she turned 3 but close enough. Then we're headed to see my FIL in the afternoon. He had his port put in yesterday and starts chemo on Monday.

Today I realized that Easter is next week!!! I have to dig out the kid's baskets and get some shopping done for it soon.

Jo & Shelly- really ladies...2 pages of crocs??? My devious shopping tip: buy off season. I buy summer clothes towards the end of season when they are on clearance and when I pull them out the next summer and DH asks if it's new. No I had it last summer, don't you remember? :lmao: Also works for winter, fall and spring.

Sea- lovely video- made me want to watch Mary Poppins! Good luck picking a camera!

RF- Congrats on the tax return and getting to make ADR's soon!!!!

Jo, I think you are the most devious woman I have ever known.

BTW, what is "HFT"?

Hi Sea! Hi Shelly!

I was wondering what HFT stands for too?

Afternoon MAYers

Sea -- very nice Merry Go Round report. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing!

RF -- YAY for making ADR's soon! :yay:
Did you see that Sea is coming to PGH in July?! :cool1:

Kim & KB -- HFT - Hot For Teacher :rotfl2: See, I needed 2 pairs of shoes, one for school and one for home. Can't wear flip flop type shoes to school. We had a new Shoe Carnival store open near here last week. So I came home with one pair for school - NSHFT (Not So Hot For Teacher) and another pair, which DH really liked, so JO and I call them - HFT!! :lmao: Did you get all that??? What can I say, it takes very little to amuse us!!

DS10 starts hockey tomorrow. That's about it for our weekend plans so far. We got a little snow last night. Nothing major, it's pretty much melted by now. But it's still cold, around 40 degrees. A week ago it was nearly 75!

HFT :lmao: You gals are too much! Yes, very little to amuse you both indeed. At least it wasn't about food though. Perhaps the next couple of pages could be about eating food while wearing your HFT shoes. :rotfl:

It's cold and rainy here- they said we may get some flurries this afternoon but nothing major. The little taste of spring we had last week was nice- hope it comes back again soon.

No - I didn't see that Sea was visiting!!! :goodvibes Yay!!!

What plans have I missed out on? Where are you thinking of staying, and what all would you like to see when you come? And what are your dates?

I could go back and search, :teacher: but I'm lazy - and I've missed *weeks* of conversation.
