Morning MAYers :snooty:

What's everyone up to this weekend? popcorn::

I am having friends over tonight for a Dexter marathon and dinner. :goodvibes Tomorrow night I am going to my aunt and uncles to play some games and do some planning for our WDW trip! :cool1: Not that we have much to do. We already know what ADR's we're doing and have all been there a bunch of times already. I just have to wait for TGM's LCPC's and we'll be set!

Tomorrow morning I am taking down all of my handles from my kitchen cabinets and spray painting them from ghetto shiny gold to oil rubbed bronze. Wish me luck! If it goes well, I am going to do our light fixtures too. Someone really LOVED gold when they decorated our house.

I still want to post pics of the new furniture, maybe I'll wait until my cabinets are done and show you my handy work. :goodvibes

Good morning my friend.
Hope you are having a really great day.

Good Luck!!!!!! . I hope your painting goes very well.
It's always nice to have it turn out how you see it in your head.

Morning Lake! :goodvibes

How did Miss Emmy like Enchanted? princess: I love that movie!! I would say it's one of my 'desert island' movies for sure! :cloud9:

Morning!

Ahhh, the Fantasyland reconstruction. I'm hoping that it isn't all messed up in May. By the time it's all done, my babies will be big. MCat will be almost 18, Drew will be 14, and Belle will be 11. Too old for them to really love it.

Therefore I am hoping my SIL will get married and give me a niece so I can take her when she's two.:goodvibes

RF--- knobs aren't really really expensive- you can change them out fairly cheaply if you don't special order them. Our last house had a ton of gold fixtures that we replaced with soem from Home depot. Just a thought if they don't turn out the way you want them to.

Hello from soggy and chilly California. This storm is on it's last leg now. The weekend is suppose to be cloudy and maybe a some small showers.

We had a very cool thunderstorm last night. A couple of power outages in the area, but thankfully we were affected.

I am glad this week is over!

Sending you wishes for a dry and warm weekend so that you can get out of the soggy feeling.
Glad the storm is coming to an end.

:woohoo:

Stay safe

Thanks Jo! I found really cute ones at Target that I loved and I think to replace all of them in the kitchen it would be like $60 or $70, so not too terrible... But, I figured I would give it a shot and see if they look OK after spending onliy $15 for paint.

Wish me luck! :yay:

Afternoon MAYers!

Can't wait to see your furniture and cabinet pictures RF!

Glad Emmy enjoyed Enchanted Lake. I liked that movie too!

Good luck at school Mari! :wizard:

Sorry about your crappy weather Sea. Hope next week brings sunny skies! :goodvibes So when are you coming to PA??? I thought about you the other day when I got an email from Hershey!

So guess what I did MAYers???

I got me a job! :faint: Without even looking. A woman from our church called me a few weeks ago to see if I'd like to come work for her at her hair salon & day spa. I had mentioned in conversation to her last summer that I'd like to find something part time someday. Well she remembered and called me out of the blue. I used to do hair, long long ago. I actually still have my cosmetology teaching license. I haven't done it in years, not interested in doing it. Then I was in banking for several years. And now I haven't worked since 2005. Well she thought with my hairstylist background and my banking background that I would be a good fit for her shop, assisting the hairstylists and handling the front desk, books, etc. So I am going to give it a try! I told her I couldn't commit to more than 10-12 hours a week and I would want the summer off and she agreed to it!

So between that and DH's surgery, next week will be hectic for sure.

Hey Shelly - We will come when you have your annual Mayer PA meet up. Have you set a date yet?

Congrats on the new job! More money to spend on your vacations!

Yay yay yay!!!!:dance3::yay::woohoo::yay::woohoo:

Now- whatever will you do when it's time to start your PTR?:confused3

I think the terms of your hiring should have included DIS time.:3dglasses

Congrats...

Hi to Sea!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Shelly - We will come when you have your annual Mayer PA meet up. Have you set a date yet?

Congrats on the new job! More money to spend on your vacations!

Sea

Thanks Sea!

I don't think there are any Pittsburgh MAYer meets planned as of yet. RF and I are always here, so it's just whenever everyone wants to come!! :yay: We are always up for a quick trip out to Hershey too if you guys would rather do that. That might be closer to some other MAYers too, Mari and Kim -- if they are interested!

Thanks JO! :cool1:

Don't worry, I already accounted for all my prior family, school, and DIS commitments before agreeing on anything! I'll still be around! :woohoo:

Well MAYers, Kim should either be on her way to WDW or she may even be there! :cool1: I am so happy for her, but a bit jealous that they will be swimming in the CBR pool this weekend and I will be here!

They were supposed to leave around 3:00am this morning and start their drive, but then they had that snow/ice warning that we had (we got nothing) so they were debating leaving when her DH got home from work last night. I didn't get to talk to her last night, so I'm not sure what they decided. I just hope they didn't run into any nasty weather no matter when they decided to leave. :wizard:

:goodvibes Prior commitments---
:lmao:

Kim--- yay KIM!!! I'm such a bit jealous as well- I hope they are pulling in to WDW right now and the sun is shining on them as I type!:goodvibes

Shelly- your ticker IS moving! Look at it go!:banana::banana:

That is great! I read on Hershey's web site that they are open a couple of weekends in April and then in May on a more regular schedule. May is going to be busy with Chris' graduation and his parties. What does June look like for you? My wife is done with school on June 11th.

Sea

Thanks Sea!

Congratulations! Way to go!
I too have been starting to think about finding something p/t. Since the kids will both be in school full time come fall. Problem is I still want to be here before and after school for them. Finding something between 9:30 to 3:00 only is the hard part.
I'm glad you lucked out Shelly.

Think..more $$ for WDW, maybe you can add a few more days at the Board Walk. :)

Tell DH we wish him well on his surgery and will be thinking of him ok.
We need him up and running around for the next Mayer meet. :thumbsup2
