When at Disney, do you go to all 4 theme parks and the water parks or do you ever skip any because you don't care for them? We go to all of the theme parks but honestly I wouldn't mind passing on the Animal Kingdom but I go because my husband likes this park. I'm just not too interested in this park. Last time we didn't go to the water parks because my daugther wasn't even 2 yet so we didn't think she would enjoy it but we usually try to go to at least one water park each trip. What about you, do you go to everything or skip some because you don't like them?

I have never been to a water park, but I'm ok with that. My kids are 6 and 2 and there really isn't that much to do. Besides we can go to a water park around our house. We'll get to one of them eventually.

We normally go to MK everyday of our trip. We do a lot of park hopping. We normally go to AK for a morning - tops! But this trip I think we may try to spend a day at AK, we'll see.

We spend the most time at MK, followed by EPCOT, then MGM and lastly AK.

We don't do the water parks, but we usually hit all the parks while there.

We have APs so we are more relazed about what we see or do. If we skip something, we know we can go back and see it if we feel like it.

Also, we have been there a few times over that last couple years, so we don't do it "commando style". I find it more enjoyable that way.

Our order of time spent (heavily influenced by DS 3 1/2 yrs old):

MK - 50%
AK - 20%
Epcot - 20%
MGM - 10%

No time at water parks - agree that it is something that will come later and there is always a decent local one although not as visually appealing as WDW ones would be

This time we are buying AP as we know we are going at least 1 one time in the 12 months following and will take our time and not worry if we only spend for example 2 hours at MGM or 4 at AK - much more relaxing mindset

Thanks
Jason

Don't "skip" the parks but we do cut our time in Epcot significantly. We normally go there for about 1/2 day.... if that.

We have no interest in water parks. We do about 45% of our park time in Epcot, 25% in MK, 10% AK, 10% Studios, 10% Downtown/DisneyQuest.

we also skip the waterparks completely. Actually, in the numerous trips to WDW, I have never even seen the water parks

We're going for a longer time this next trip, so it will be our first time going to one of the water parks -- usually, on a shorter trip, I don't want to "waste" a park day by going to a water park instead of one of the main parks. (And we always seem to go when there are shorter park hours, so doing a water park and another park in one day isn't really an option.)

We went to MGM a couple of trips ago, but skipped it last trip and plan to skip it again this next trip (except for Fantasmic, which is one of my must-do's each trip). I think MGM is better with no kids or with older kids -- my (now 4 y.o.) DS is not all that into the shows, and there just aren't many rides that appeal to little ones.

We do every park. But we do usally do both the water parks. And we do Epcot and MK the most. Even though the kids do not like Epcot!

We don't always go to the Animal Kingdom and I've yet to go to any of the water parks. We have 2 extra days in May this time, so will go to all 4 parks. Will probably go to the resorts pool rather than a water park, though, saves money that way

Ok this doesn't really work if you only have four days there. Here is something the DW and I have tried. We leave one day open and don't decide a thing until the morning we wake up. DTD is always a fun stop if you haven't tried that. Or just go ride a ride of your choice or two or three. Just relax a little. Leaving that day open will help with that. Start off with a dip in the resort pool. Have coffee while watching the kids. It's just something to take the edge off. Good Luck!

The biggest mistake we made on our last trip was waiting until the afternoon of our last full day to visit Typhoon Lagoon. Our 2yo son is a real water bug, and he absolutely loved the water park. You can't even compare it to a resort pool. I myself am typically not overly interested in swimming / water sports, but I even had a blast.

Next time we'll definitely set aside a full day for the water parks.

Regarding the 4 main parks, we have always hit each of them during our trips. We've been to AK on two separate trips, and spent 1/2 day there each time. Over those two visits, I believe we've seen everything the park has to offer except the Pocahontas show. Until the park grows, it will likely continue to be a half-day visit.

EPCOT is a park that we have always short-changed. My wife isn't crazy about it, but I believe that's mostly due to ignorance regarding what it really has to offer. I've already decided that next time I'm going to twist her arm into at least a full day at EPCOT.

MK and MGM are our favorites, and probably make up 75% of the park time in any given vacation.

Didn't do the water-parks on our first trip. But, on our last trip in '01 we spent about 3 hrs. at BB. That was after a very short visit to AK. Haven't decided if we'll be doing AK this summer. There are some things there I like ( Lion King show, Kali, Kilamanjaro). We are leaving two days as non-park days. At least one of those days will be at TL for part of a day.

We always skip the water parks, have some of them local. On this trip we will not have as long as usual to go to parks and we have decided to skip MGM. Only a couple of things there we like.

We do visit all four theme parks, but we only spend a half day at Animal Kingdom. For some reason we just don't spend a lot of time there, no reason in particular, it just seems to work out that way.

we usually skip water parks and MGM. Spend most of our time at MK and Epcot. Kids are getting older and want more time at Disneyquest. I guest Ak is going to loss out this time.

We have only been to the water parks one year and that was in 2000 when they had a special for AP holders.

We go to all 4 theme parks every trip

We always go to all 4 parks. However, like others, we usually only spend a half-day at AK. The other half of that day is usually spent at a park of our choice. We spend a full day at MK, EPCOT, and Disney Studios. We usually spend a full-day at Universal as well. We always take one full day off away from the parks. That really helps our tired feet. It also let's us see some of the other Disney attractions, like the Boradwalk, or Downtown Disney.

We try to do the water parks each time. They are without a doubt the best our family has used. If you have a day go early and you can still go later in the afternoon/evening to a theme park if its open later.
We have found that we go to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot but for specific rides and then move on.
We like the Animal Kingdom best followed by MGM. Our daughter is 10 now and with the characters being in all parks if she sees them at AK it makes no never mind :-)
My 2 cents worth.
Cheers,
Grumbo

We have never been to the water parks, but generally hit all 4 parks on each visit (2 days each at MK, EPCOT and MGM, but 1/2 day at AK, and 1 day at Univ. and 1 day a IofA). If its a quick 4- 5 day visit, we skip AK altogether. This schedule works out great for us. :-)
