Howdy....I can't help but look
I'm sure I'll be picking up the phone soon too.
While out shopping all I could hear on the radio was "heavy snow falling in the mountains"

Last winter for this though!! Thank goodness. A mom's heart can only take so much.

She is a good driver, has chains.....but has never used them. She took the bus back and forth the first 2 years....now I remember why. But then refused because it took so long.
The weather last winter was good...we didn't have a real winter.
And she drives.....a little, tiny Honda CRX

Okay..off to occupy my overactive imagination.....cookie baking time!

Keep those safe PD thoughts coming......only about 4 hours to go!!

Not yet ....but the road is looking better.
She should be over the mountain and on this side, if there wer no problems......then she will just have traffic to deal with

Well, Christopher is home and we are waiting for DH to get here so we can go out and eat. He wants Outback. Seems he didn't care for dorm food. Go figure?

Well - this Friday is the semi-final game - and it's in McMurray - which is around Canonsburg, Betty. You probably are familiar with that area from living in Pittsburgh.... The following Saturday is the State Final game, which is in Hershey.

Chris doesn't like dorm food?

Ahhh, the power of Ya Ya prayer!!! A huge and heartfelt thank you has been delivered to the Man upstairs! Nancy, I'm soooo glad to hear your DD made it safely! Enjoy your time with her!! (And if ya can't whine to your Ya Ya sisters, who CAN you whine to?? We're here for ya whenever you need us!)

I am making this a lame catch up and I am sorry for that I wanted to share something though that happened tonight.

I got back from being out with my family not too long ago... while I was out I got a call from my friend Marc. I love him to death and hopefully we can see each other tomorrow. He's the one who was my "man of honor" at my wedding. I went with him to his prom and spent many nights up late just talking away. For a while his home was almost like a second home to me and I even would stay over night during college. Lovely parents. Anywho my Marc (as I call him) called me tonight and dropped a bomb shell on me. He is adopting... well he is in the beginnings of the adopting stages and one piece of advice that he was given was to pick possible legal guardians even before the adoption takes place... just something they apparently now always ask about in the interviews and whatever. Anyway long story short... he asked me (and Luis too). I was so shocked and so honored at the same time... I just pray that all goes well for him with a child... and I pray I would never need to come in and take care of a child of his, but wow... amazing.

I will try to stop in while I can but I think I'll be a bit scarse for the next two weeks... sorry
