Deena....EXPENSIVE!!!!
We got our king headboard/footboard and rails for 399.00!! We always shop at Rooms To Go

Deena...we just came home from furniture shopping. That sounds about right for the places we went, but they are known for being more expensive. I know the piece of Stickly furniture I own was 1500 or 1600 and it is an armoire. It is solid cherry so that makes a difference too.

My mom found a suit that we both liked for Jarrod. She has been wanting to buy him a "big" boy bedroom since his birthday so she figured if she bought it now he wouldn't have to go through withdrawl when we take his bed out in a few months (his bed is a convertible crib to jr bed to twin size bed). We got a dresser, captains bed, night stand and mirror for the dresser for $648 but it is pine so it is not the best material, but it should stand up to a boy for the next 10 years or so!!

So tired, but must work on my homework. I have two papers to write before 6m tomorrow evening to get them submitted and i really don't want to do either of them. I might just go to bed and hope I have time to get to them tomorrow.

Kristy...everyone said that my evil queen was truly my personality coming out!! I told my students that this is what i wear on the weekends! I think they believed it!

Had a wonderful day.....and it was cold!! Never got above 40....brrr.....they are predicting SNOW!!! NO!!

Got free tickets to Brother Bear at the Disney Store, so a friend and I went. It was cute.....but not in my top for Disney movies.

Cute costumes everyone!!

Beth got a stocking! I have things to put in one, but no stocking yet. Haven't found one I like......but I'm sure more will be coming out now.

I went back to bed twice this morning, but since posting I've only played with the cats and showered. I admit I felt like I needed to after trying to post!

Meet was good, but I guess driving about 430 miles in one day like that was kind of tiresome on my body.

I think I'm off to catch up on PMs and read for a while now though

I've made the round trip to DD's school in one day before and it wasn't very fun.

Yep...kind of unusual for us...but the last month's weather has been unusul
I see that Fresh Tressa posted that they go snow....she is about 60 miles south of me....but it didn't here (and I'm glad). It has cleared up and is all the way to 36º!!

Hi all... actually Pam, I did take a nap... woke up not too long ago

I did take pics of the meet... havne't even looked at them... maybe I will later tonight or tomorrow if I wake up more. My head just hurts today due to allergies

Pam, we have that weather today too... and it is really very sticky today!!! I guess rather humid after the rain/fog yesterday.

Hmmm... who showed to the meet? The LK 4, shamrock bunch, rumplemom, theprincess, ranatra, Towncrier & family, candykisses & family (Banzai is her son)... not too bad at all

Ummmm... I think y'all will kill me for this, but I didn't have time to dress up for the kids on Thursday last week Sometime when I have a free moment I'll dress up and have Luis take a pic for y'all.

Off to catch up a couple of other places too

I love that verse too... so many of his songs have such great lyrics to them! Absolutely wonderful!!! Another of my favorites is from "I survived you" where he says "This heart's been torn in two, cut and bruised with too many bitter endings. I'll be damned if I have thoughts of you, rain on my new beginning!" I wish I had his songs when I was dating in highschool & college

I must be REALLY cheap, Deena!! The suite I was looking at was bed, hutch double-dresser with mirror, high boy and night stand for only $2399. And we decided we couldn't afford THAT!! I cannot even imagine paying $1300 for a dresser with mirror!

Beth, you can have the cold It would have been nice if we had some 60s....or even 50s in there before going right to so cold....but living here, it really shouldn't last too long before the rain comes back and warms it up again.

P-nut, I haven't been able to find the American Idol Christmas CD anywhere, but at my Walmart there seem to be a ton of Clay's CD! I've also seen a ton at Targets near by. I had heard "Invisible" and "I Will Carry You" I am really loving his new CD!

Jared's party went great. The boys all had alot of fun! Before leaving, a small snake somehow got on the rink. Of course, the boys found that totally cool. Eww!

Yesterday we took Jared shopping to spend his b-day $$. Spent all but $1. LOL Money just burns a whole in my boy's pockets.

Supposed to be 70 here today and 75 tomorrow. I am loving it. Wish it would stay this way, I hate winter.
