Happy Birthday to another Jared!!

My Jarrod will be a pirate tonight. He has gotten the Captain Hook costume from tDS but he thinks he is going as captain Feathersword from the Wiggles.

Our school let us dress up this year so I came as myself, the Evil Queen!! I looked pretty darn evil! It was quite comical going to the dr. for my daily bloodwork and be dressed up. Everyone came in to see me!! I had to take if off after about 3 hours. I was about to pass out from the heat!! Under it I have black pantyhose, black stretch shorts and a black short sleeve turtle neck. With my hair slicked back for my hood I now look like one of the girls from Robert Palmer's videos!!! So I actually got two costumes in one!! Tho everytime I run to the bathroom I have to put the gown back on, don't want to scare anyone!!

CS..post pictures of your costumes so I know who those people are, I don't see much tv, so I'm not familiar with your people.
Kristy..our tree is a hallmark tree. My mother buys hallmark ornaments each year for christmas and gives them to us. Well, since my ornaments are mixed with hers we have a ton of ornaments on the tree. WE want to do separate trees for different types of ornaments but havent' found the space yet!

Okay, must finish my lunch. Still eating the salad but I've switched to ginger ale instead of my diet cherry coke. It's too sweet but it is better than what ever is in the diet drinks. I need to learn to drink water, but I really don't like it. I guess I need to start sucking it up and drink it!!! hehehe

Bought Michael a while sheet today--we are going to decorate it. He is going to be a Ketchup packet, lol. He wanted to wear it over his head and I asked him if he was going at as the ghost of a ketchup packet and he loved that. So now we will have to make one corner look "open". He has a great sense of humor, last year he wore a trash bag--he was white trash, lol. Obviously he has his moms warped sense of humor.

LOL, looks like we have our first check in guess the other one will be checking in this evening unless she is hitting the party circut. Im just trying to decide where to take Evan and Connor tonight for some trick or treating. We only go to houses of people that we know but none of them live close together. Dh will be home late also so that doesnt give us much time. Oh well they got to party at MNSSHP a couple of weeks back so they did have some fun.

Ketchup packet...I love it! My DD said she was'nt going to dress up this year then two days ago she changes her mind. I managed to throw together a gypsy costume for school this morning. That is about as crafty as I get . I do not know if we will have many trick or treaters this year because we have some smoke from Calif. coming our way. The good thing is the temp. drop about 15 dgrees. It is only about 75 today. Feels wonderful.

P-nut, good for you being able to throw a costume together that quickly. My mom would have said "tough!" to me SOrry that you are getting some of the smoke.. I do hope they get that under control soon!

Elaine I would say tough but then I feel guilty so I end up helping--ie driving 80 mph to the library (that is closing in 5 minutes) for a report due the next morning, etc.

Awwww... you are a good mom!!! Fortunately for my mom, we knew she'd have our heads on a plate if we did something like that! She even let me sit through detention once (the only time I had detention too) because she wouldn't bring a permission slip to school for me... she even was the one who forgot but somehow it was blamed on me forgetting... can't remember how she got away with that one

Okay we are back. My little ketchup packet is out with friends and the others are home. Matthew waited til the last minute as usual so he didnt dress up, Evan was the Hulk and Connor--was Stitch for all of 3 minutes, crying while we took his picture, then we changed him into his batman pajama's. Now Im tired, lol, and heading off to bed.

Just saw Kristy in her costume.....I love it......you are a true Ya Ya. Of course I have the Evil Queen costume from Snow White....I do believe that all Ya Yas must be a villian at some point in their lives.
