Good morning everyone! Didn't sleep so well last night... couldn't quite breathe right and it felt hot up here. So today I am just vegging

Liz, sorry you couldn't sleep, I hope that the new pain meds make you feel beter soon.

Rose Mary, I know how you feel... I've been up for a while and even when I am up late, I can't sleep much past 7 or 8. Kind of stinks getting up that early! Enjoy the beach when you go!! Sounds like a perfect get away!

I have a feeling I am going to be feeling much better very soon! Just took a pain pill that I know won't make me feel icky and will make me sleepy! Yes, the block is wore off now but the drugs shouldhelpme sleep!! Greg and my mom are going out flower shopping and I am going to happily sleep it off......I am really ready for a nice nap!! DS is still at school. They are on quarter systems and he won't be home until July 11. He ended up being the only one in his dorm room this quarter. He is really lonely. He started out with 3 room mates and ended up with no one.

I am looking forward to him coming home but know that the adjustment will be fun..........know he will be on college time and we won't. Any suggestions for the adjustment period.

Wow! July 11th.....is that some summer school? Our quarter schools are out mid June.

It is a hard adjustment having them come back home again and mess you OUR schedule
Just remember it's your rules that count!
DD comes home the end of June for....who knows how long....until she finds a "real" job and gets an apartment.
It will take adjusting......but I do like having her here.....just not for too long

Liz hope those new pain meds are working.
I avoid them......they always make me feel weird.

Sleep well Liz!!!

In my sleepiness I missed that too about when his school lets out for the year Wow, even Ohio State was out by mid June. We started mid to late Sept and went until a week or two before Christmas. We'd go back 1st of Jan (a day or two later really) and then go until end of March. Then 1st of April until mid June. All were about 10 weeks. Summer was mid June through the end of July and then we'd get several weeks off to start all over. I only did summer stuff a couple of times fortunately

I didn't also make any comments about adjustment, but I just know that any rules my dad had, I followed. I felt that was only fair.

Don't worry too hard Nancy! I hope you enjoy your movie

Back from the beach and what a lovely 2 hrs . The sun was hidden behind the clouds when I first got there but, after an hour came out bright & hot! Did ya'll know they have Adult Happy Meals at McDonald's now? You get a premium salad, bottle of water (or other drink) and little pedometer thingie. Haven't checked it out yet But, the salad is pretty yummy Looked at myself in the mirror today (I try not to) and I'm turning into the blob. So,I need to cut back on the sweets and eat more veggies We'll see how long this lasts...............

Rose Mary glad you enjoyed your time at the beach. That is one of the things I am looking forward to doing while I am home.

Went to the movies last night and saw Van Helsing. Really enjoyed it. Of course it helps when you have a great looking leading man to look at the entire time

I like the mansions, but have stayed at AB too....the grounds are gorgeous!!

Tina, good pick there on hotels! I feel in love with the atmosphere there about a year and a half ago, and was glad I could stay there this time. Very quiet and beautiful there.

LOL, Nancy, sometimes I think Luis feels the same way about Salma Hayek too I do hope you enjoy the movie though!

Eeek what a day!!!! Been crazy at the church getting stuff figured out there for Families in Focus Month plus we had Team Kid Sunday and had to sing in two services. Im just now getting time to sit down and relax. Just to let you know my package will go out Tuesday at lunch. I had hoped for Monday but I have a couple more things to pick up and I just cant go back out today. Dh is doing stuff for the office now and would murdlize me if I even suggested leaving him with the kids. J/K but he would be mad. Just a crazy hectic week plus a couple of down days because of my back. The good news is the shots are working and the pain is MUCH better!!!!!

Liz I am so glad you got some good pain meds that dont make you all woogy. Nothing worse than being in pain and messed up from the meds. You are still in my thoughts and prayers.

Elaine and RM and Nancy I hope you three feel better soon. RM Im glad you had some good thrapy time at the beach. Sounds kewl about the adult happy meals. Sounds like they really are going on a health kick and its about time. Theyve been pushing super size for so long I think its about high time they started pushing more of a healthy faire.

I like POR if I can be in AB 14. Otherwise for me its too big a resort and parking is too far away from most of the buildings.

Saying prayers that everything is going well for Tara and that she comes home with only one kid on the outside LOL.

Pam it sounds like you are getting tons done with the scrapbooking. I would love to see some pictures of your pages!

Yup I survived Pokemon and Camp Pikachu for the billionth time LOL. Tried to busy myself cleaning and sorting clothes so I didnt have to pay attention to the screeching. The kids are now watching the Hobbit.

Little man just got through reading a book to Daddy. We are very much trying to get him to try harder and enjoy reading. We never had to try with our oldest he just started reading words at age three. He shocked the heck out of the preschool teacher when he started reading the newspaper she was putting down for an art project ROFL!!!!
