Good morning all. I'll be heading back to work this morning after physical therapy. My doctor has approved my working 4 hours a day for the next 4 weeks. I do now have permission from my doctor to drive again. And I have discarded my Aircast.

So Liz. Please take an extra nap for me too.

Just figuring out my napping schedule! Looks like I will be very busy today as there are lots of requests......now I hope you all know that I take this nappin job pretty seriously andwill do my best to accomodate everybody So, consider yourself well rested today!!

I have also been working very hard at some art work...Nancy sent me some very nice crayons and coloring books...so I have been hard at work in between naps. If I have your address from an exchange or from the Christmas card list.....you may just get one of my originals in the mail!!!!

So now I bet you are all wondering why my mom drives me nuts.......true story here........yesterday Greg and I went for a little ride in his new car. We were not even gone a half an hour. When we get back my mom says, "There has been a bit of a calamity here while you were out!" Are you sensing a calamity day here!! And I can not beleive she really used rthe word calamity!! "Barkley's tail got caught in my zipper and I had to cut it out!" Now how does a dog get its tail stuck in a zipper? Why would his tail be in zipper? She proceeds to tell us not toworry though, she just had to CUT a little fur off!!!!! Why is she going anywhere near my beloved boy with scissors? So Greg and I quietly fumed and I actually decided to just shut my mouth! Not something I am used to doing!! So that is how things are going here!!!!

Kristy, too cutewith your little Curly at the beach!

Well that is mymasterful ketchup for now. So far, so good! I just have this urge to say BACON...don't know why!!! Must be the pain meds or maybe a subliminal call to a yaya I have not seen in a while!

and I returned with one child on the outside and one still comfy on the inside!! That's not to say that he didn't protest somewhat!! hehehe

The biggest event of graduation was when I turned around to see my brother and his wife pull into the hotel parking lot, only to see my best friend in the front seat. She had quietly worked with my mother, brother, and his wife, to arrange a secret fly in to join me for the celebration!! I was so excited I couldn't see straight! She lives in St. Louis. that was the highlight of the trip.

The Lawn Ceremony at UVA is the tradition and it is the big deal and the not to be missed portion of the graduation ceremonies. Well, when we got up Sunday morning it was pouring down rain. They were planning to have the ceremony any way, in the rain, and as hard as it was raining I chose not to subject myself or my family to the rain. So we went on to breakfast at the restaurant attached to the hotel. We had a beautiful view of the valley below hotel. We then watched as the fog rolled in. It just appeared in the valley and in about 15 minutes the highway below us was covered with fog. I was disappointed but I was okay because I knew everyone who would be sitting on the lawn in the next hour was going to be soaked through!!.....or so I thought.

20 minutes later the sun came out, 10 minutes after that the fog was burned off and by 10 am, when the ceremony started, the sky was the most beautiful blue!!! So yes, I missed the traditional part because I didn't want to get rained on! Everyone said it was incredible and that I missed a great time. I am choosing to look at it as a reprieve from the heat and that as much as Ethan complained after teh hour and a half I sat in the sun for the second ceremony, it was probably in both our best interests that we did it that way!

The official diploma ceremony went very well. They pronounced my name correctly and spelled it correctly on the diploma!!

So all went well. I have to race to a meeting. I'll pop back in later!

Not true...I read through all of the weekend posts before I commented on anything.

It's just that I do not know everyone well enough to make comments such as:
