Hi all... busy day and I seem to have trouble getting online to read/reply on the DIS at work... who knows why but I may not be on much during the day if it keeps up.

Tara, a big big congratulations to you!!! That is wonderful news!!!! I forgot to tell you this a long time ago... my dad once got me a soccer shirt from UVA. The funny thing is when I wear it, people from VA talk to me about it like I know what goes on with the game there Can't a woman wear a shirt just because she likes how it feels? Anyway, I am so glad all went well and its really cool that your best friend could come for it too!

I have been told I am not a good patient because I need my space!!! As a mother /daughter, we are supposed to be more intimate! I have offended poor mom! She is going to go and have all of our problems solved after a quick hour with Oprah and then Dr. Phil!!!! Oh boy, I can hardly wait for the prognosis!!

In the meantime I have colored 22 pictures!!! 11 front and backs! I can't wait to send them out!! RM, better make a spot on your fridge..cause I have your address!!

OK, that is about all the excitement I can hndle for one day! I have not had a pain pill since very early this morning....so I am hopoing that is a sign of things to come...a speedy recovery!!! I survived my first official (half) day back at work. I am only supposed to work 4 hours a day for the next 4 weeks. So on my first day back I ended up needing to stay 5 hours. I can see an alarming trend already taking place. I did manage to keep my ankle elevated for a few minutes here and there. And the commute home wasn't too awful. It was good to be back to work with my friends and collegues, but I sure missed my couch time. Today was my DW Sue's usual day off. She found herself missing me as she went back to her daily routine sans husband. When I got home from work, my kids were yelling at each other and Sue was trying to keep the peace. Just like old times.

We're grilling out this evening, I suppose in celebration of my return to work.

Not a cicada in sight. The coast is clear for Amanda and Todd and the girls to come up next weekend (if they're up to the drive). Sorry you can't make it this year Liz. There's always someone who says "next year", and that gives me the incentive to keep up what has become a family (and DIS) tradition. Maybe we can get a bunch of Hoosiers to come visit us in O-hi-ya.

Great news about the pain pills Liz. You go girl.

I hate when they run out of sale stuff the second day after the ad comes out. I went to CVS for pop, but I found some at the same price at the local grocery store.

I'm so relieved. I didn't want to spend my week off without the boy I watch by doing jury duty.

Nancy, have you tried the Hershey's White Chocolate with Almonds? Just ate one and it was sooo yummy!

Good grief!! How did three whole days go by without my posting?! Got most of my domestic chores done this weekend and watched both Stargate DVDs so I could send 'em back for more! LOL!!! It's fun catching up--I'm up to the 4th season and I think this year was 7th or 8th, not sure.

I have a small dilema here.... a little advice. Dawn just sent out an e-mail about her bachelorette party. Now I am not one to put a price on friends but the night which includes, dinner, game works, $16 tickets to a commedy club, drinks, and a slumber party is starting to get to me. She says if we go back to her house we have to stay the night. So between spending about at lest$45 and feeling trapped that night, I am not sure what to do. I have already spent over $600 on this wedding, have $45 in make up coming and now this... not sure what I want to do and the day to decide is weds... just not sure when is "enough"...

The basket is great. The girls can't wait for the kool-aid popsicles to come out of the fridge. They also love the books. Mandy asked me who the bubbles were for and I told her 'ME'...she tried to explain to me that adults don't play with bubbles . I am sure Cassie will have fun in the pool with the float ring. I love the lime green items, mug and flip flops. I can't wait to use the stir sticks, don't tell the girls I hid them I love daisies and plan on getting the kit you sent me going. Once the plants are in good shape I will transfer them to my cutting flower garden. The candle smells wonderful. Now for the ice cubes.....I can't get them going. I will see if Todd can figure them out. They look really cool. Jolly Ranchers galore, these are definitely mine. If I missed anything I am sorry. I had to put everything away before Mandy's friends came over, the little girl has to look and handle everything and I am still not willing to share my bubbles

Amanda, glad you got them all and safely!!! I probably went over board on the bubble wrap but I wanted to be sure!!

The ice cubes... they are hard to start (I know from the package I bought myself) so I started yours for you... there is one side that says "on" and "off" with arrows... well for on, have that arrow pointing down and whack it on a hard surface, it should light on the first go for you. If not whack it (they said tap) four or five times really hard. I should ahve sent the instructions but when the packaging didn't fit right, I threw it away not thinking

She is throwing it herself... don't ask. I think I might skip the comedy club (very smokey there) and just do the first two or so. We'll see I guess. I just can't afford more... really I don't think I want to afford more.

Nancy, 5 packages have been received. From what I gather three were sent Sat/Today. One will be tomorrow, and the last one, sadly I am not sure of I hope they check their PMs soon
