Well I'm partial to melee, but you can't be a Pally worgen! So maybe a Fury or Arms Warrior Worgen?
I've never been a huge fan of pallys, but that might be a holdover from my D&D days.

I'm finally clearing my schedule to start playing again. Need to get Cataclysm (and Lich King - bad gamer geek, no candies for me!) My friends want a DPS, and I am leaning toward rolling a Worgen of some sort. Any advice from regular players?
BTW, if you like doing dungeons... by all means be a warrior... you get in LITERALLY within seconds most times.... If you are DPS, 30 minute waits are not uncommon.
I hate my worgen warrior, but I am not a good warrior regardless of race. The worgen starting area is FEROCIOUS.... and you will be there until about level 14 or 15. I have 2 worgen, and as best as I can tell, the worgen starting zone is almost 100% linear. You can't just leave it like humans, dwarves, elves.... can
I don't even know if it is possible to get back to the starting zone if you want to.... though I have so far not had a reason to want to go back.
I do enjoy my worgen rogue.
Can't leave either the Worgen or Goblin starting zones and once left can't go back. Can't even be summoned from them by a lock. I really enjoyed the Worgen starting zone and would have finished it anyway even if leaving was an option.
If you don't want to play a melee DPS I would recommend a Mage. Spec frost for leveling and you'll be pretty much untouchable. being able to port from city to city is also a big plus when leveling a Mage. Really cuts down on travel time.

My mage is now level 72. I am dual specced fire and frost. Fire kills faster, but I die more. I will be getting rid of frost and my second spec is going to be arcane when I finally remember to change it.
I absolutely LOVE being able to port almost anywhere I need to go ( or close )... but I also love being paid to port people.
Well my DH has his account back....not before waiting almost an hour on hold with Blizz support...but the account is ours, and everything is restored...bout time..
You looking for a spell flinger? What about a lock....its been compared to mages...they are a lot of fun to play...Also a Boomkin...you can duel spec to either melee DPS or spell DPS...
Yeah, I have an alliance frost mage already - just was looking for something a little different. No biggie to roll the same thing - at least it will be horde instead of alliance, after all.
OMG Speaking of voices. I've only played female characters. Well I rolled my worgen priest and I'm embarassed to make her /lol! She sounds like a dude! And don't even get me started on the worgen female dance. I'll switch to human form and /dance.
But those are honestly my only two gripes about the worgen. I did roll a goblin and that starting zone was pretty dang cool too!
So what is UP WoW peeps? Been plugging along in Azeroth...not really doing all that much. I rolled me a orc shaman, and went Resto...and so far, I love it. Nothing to complain about yet.
Just waiting for 4.1 to hit now...hoping that will add a new dynamic to the already run its course expansion..
So what is everyone else up too![]()
Up to nothing this last week. I was busy moving. In fact, I am at the new house alone tonight as the painters will be here at 7:30 tomorrow, they say. Just about to sign on WoW for the first time in several days.
I have to go read about 4.1 now...![]()
