I actually got to play a little this weekend!!!
I thought the female worgens sounded like Bea Arthur from Golden Girls....or a drag queen impersonating Bea Arthur. I love the worgen's /flirt, but my hubby is creeped out when I do that to him on my worgen. He says that it sounds like a guy flirting with him.
I can't wait for 4.1 b/c I think that's when the new mount will be available from the Blizzard store. Even though I don't play as much as I used to, I NEED that mount, it's not a want, it's a total need. I'll just consider it the consolation prize for not pulling wife aggro on DH while he's raiding and I can't anymore.

I try to follow Clara's (from The Guild) lead on not reading patch notes, but my hubby usually forces them down my throat. Even the ones on the classes I don't play. Then again, my hubby expects me to study every once of the mage threads on the EJ site when I'm raiding.

This weekend I got my Druid up to exalted with Org. Now I need to work on UC rep. Farmed some leather with my Hunter but that was pretty much it. I have the only computer in the house that will run all the games we own and lately both my DH and DS have been playing Oblivion, so not much WoW time for me.

I kinda liked "druids no longer go to the innkeeper to set their hearthstones, they now need to see Stablemasters"..LOL

Also the debuff for spending to much time in the city..LOL..I know people who do that..LOL

What was really funny were the people on the WoW forums who didn't bother to read far enough to realize it was an April Fools joke. There were some seriously ticked off people that day

I fired up EQ2 this weekend to give that a whirl. WoW and the Cats expansion just really did not do it for me.

I am doing the free version of EQ2 and the server is packed with people. Solid game but can't say more then then due to my lower level and only seeing a small portion of the game.

We all know graphic vision of WoW is slanted to cartoonish, so EQ2 is more normal. Ton of classes, but some are just similar versions (ie two bard type, two monk types. some minor difference).

They added battlegrounds so have to see how that goes. Quests are harder because of the way the UI works and less being lead around like WoW and other MMO's do. Found getting around much easier with access to druid rings and if guilded a world wide port system if your guild is high enough leveling.

Tradeskills are overwhelming to me, as you can be all things and TONS of mats to manage.

Oh I do like how you can upgrade your spells/combat arts. You are given them free at an apprentince (spellling?) level. You can upgrade them to much more powerful versions via crafting or drops.

Anway, for anyone a little tired of WoW or needing a break like me, EQ2 extended is 100% free and fun. You are limited to class/races for the 100% version but you can still see a ton of the game to get a feel.

I loved that one on the druids. Although I would love to add the ability to shoot them out of the air, if they are trying to ninja a node that you are killing a NPC on top of to get to. There is nothing I hate more than an herbing druid in flight form.
Well, I'm on an RP server, so there are lots of people just hanging around the cities. On our server they would have to extend that to Goldshire and whatever the Horde equivalent.
My DH loved the one about hunters getting valor points when kicked from a DFG. As a mage, I would love the one about mirror image. I can just imagine all the little green pigtails gnomes.

I've been playing the trial version of Star Trek Online when I want a break from WoW. I may give EQ2 a try as well. I've also been playing the beta for a WW2 MMO called World of Tanks which is pretty interesting if you're into that sort of thing.

I think Cata will be better eventually. From what I've read, there will be a lot of major content addded as this exapnsion goes forward. It's supposed to have a lot of content added as it goes along like Vanilla did. Vanilla had eleven major patches as compared to BC (two major patches) and Wrath (three major patches).

Honestly, fighting NPC's right on top of an herb, and having a druid in flight form ninja it, is why I made my mage an herber. Even though it meant that both of my toons had that prof. Now I just sheep, pick, blink, invisi, and go to the next node.

I once had a stealthed rogue hound me with my whispers in a language, I can't use here on the DIS, for picking the herb he was walking to. No matter how many time I explained that I literally couldn't see him, he didn't care.

Speaking of Blink.... I don't PvP.... and have never used that spell except when I first got it, just to see it in action. My mage hit 75 last night, so today will train some professions, and maybe do a dungeon or 2.

I love using Blink. When I'm farming leather on my mage, I blink from animal to animal. My mage wasn't supposed to be my main, I was just going to use her as a gathering toon. She was just to pick herbs for my Elixir warrior and leather for my hubby's LW.
Actually my fav thing to do on my mage is to slow fall off of Dal, or any really high place.

Took my mage to 77. Realized how boring K3 is. I may go back to the basin or to Crystalsong. I'm starting to get that burned out feeling again.

In an earlier post I mentioned that some nice woman has given me 6 blue pieces for when I hit 83. The other night when she signed on, I said hello. While talking I mentioned that I needed volatile life for alchemy. Later that night 100 of them showed up in my game mailbox.... but here is the thing... it turned out that it was actually her son playing her toon for a bit as he doesn't have his own pally. What a nice family.

I have been in a rut lately. I play my 85 Hunter and do the fishing, cooking and TB dailies. I need to work on my DK (83) and my Priest (69) but for some reason I just can't get motivated to do it. I know the Easter festivities are next week and I'd like to get the titles on a couple of my guys (my DK has it). I need some motivation .

I've actually been able to play a little lately. I haven't been able to raid b/c my guild raids between 11:30 PM- 3:00 AM CST. My DH and I have been playing our belfs though. I never would have thought I would play a Horde toon. I did lvl a goblin to 20, but then just left it. However, this spriest is fun!! I put it in a small lvl'ing guild, but I'm not sure what I'll do with it when it hits 85.

Any suggestions on good profs for a spriest? I have an elixir master, pot master, and an inscriptionist on the Ally side. My DH has an enchanter, tailor, and a JC. I could just make stuff on them and take it to a nuetral AH and then put it up for 1 copper. Is there a prof, though, that the stuff that I can make is bop, so I would have to make it for myself on that toon?

The problem with a lot of the professions, is the stuff is a mixed bag if BOP and BOE. If you dont have the need for the gear...go for pure money making for now...build a nice horde nest egg so to speak..

I try and take a profession opposite of DH..so if he takes mining, I take herbs and vice versa...this way we both get the "extra" EXP from gathering. Usually pair that with Skinning, and sell everything...pure profit...

I'll be glad when Chaos Orbs become BOE. My hunter has all the epic LW recipes but can't make anything but the leg enchants. I don't raid with him as he's strictly a PVP toon, so no orbs for me.
