Thank you! The breast reduction surgery will be later-probably in the fall before WDW. I'm doing my abdomen first. The abdomen will actually require 2 surgeries to reconstruct it so this is the first part of my 2-part procedure. The next one shouldn't be as major as this one. Then when that's all done, I'll tackle the breast reduction. I said when I turned 40 I was going to have all these "issues" taken care of. So I am.

For the reduction, I told Buzz I would like to be able to wear those bras that close in the front again. I got the big "Grandma" ones now. In fact, I got all of my grandma's bras when she died! We were both the same size. Giant.

Thank you Heidi!! I'm not sure when I'll be up and around. I'm hoping to go to LeeAndra's soccer game Wednesday night but I doubt it. I really don't know how I'll do, but I'm pretty tough when it comes to recovering.

We were grocery shopping yesterday and LeeAndra bumped into me and said, "Oh, sorry Mom. I didn't mean to run into your big butt." This lady next to us cracked up laughing. Gee thanks LeeAndra-she's so honest....

Okay, that reminds me of Brookie. I was watching my niece last week. She's 14 months old. Whenever I had to change her Brookie wanted to watch. Then she said, "Emmy has a tiny butt." I said to Brookie, "You have a little butt." Then Brookie looked at me and said, "I want a big butt like you Mommy!" Gee thanks kid!

Ok, I wanted to post one more update before my surgery so here goes.

Ok, so we get up and we’re at the small sink area. Buzz has just gotten out of the shower and has his towel on. I’m totally ready, just standing there talking to him and LeeAndra comes up to us. She’s totally ready too, has her tennis shoes on even. What happened next, happened so fast, I couldn’t stop it and in hind sight, I’m really not sure I would’ve.

LeeAndra says, “Watch this, Mom,” then winds up and kicks Buzz right in the butt! He yells, “OW!” and I immediately fall apart laughing. It was so funny- she really wound up for that kick! Just when I’m able to start breathing again, Buzz says, “She didn’t kick just my butt you know,” and again, I’m doubled over laughing. Finally, I manage to squeak out in between laughs, “She wound up! She had her shoes on! You only have a towel on!” And again, I’m laughing –even harder now.

Now Buzz is getting a little annoyed with me. The more I laugh, the worse it gets. I could not stop laughing! My stomach and my chest hurt so bad, but every time I thought of it, I fell apart. Finally, Buzz barks at me, “It wasn’t that funny.” But it was! “Watch this Mom!” Pow! Right in the butt (and other things!)

So we head for the bar to get a coffee with me laughing all the way downstairs. I walk behind everyone trying to get myself composed.

We get our coffees from the bar and walk outside. Buzz announces he doesn’t want to do the character dinner on the last night. “You’re doin’ it,” was my response. He grumbles a bit so I tell him, “I ain’t doing the river raft ride today!” He surprised me by agreeing with me!

We get to the rope drop. No kids get to help today. That’s fine. I dump my coffee just in time for the California Screamin’ sprint fast-walk.

We ride it twice and I can’t do it anymore. Getting too sick. Everyone is fine with that. We go to the Muppets. We get our 3D glasses and sit on the floor to watch the preshow, which I love.

We’re sitting watching when Trey comes up and says, “Uh oh, I broke my glasses!” He broke the stem. I was so proud of his sentence! I got him new ones so all was gud again.

We’re kind of thinking we’re hungry now so we walk around looking for food. There’s kind of a food area sort of across from the winery. We’re walking around, looking at menus, standing around when I thought I heard someone say something about Linnie. Thinking there’s no one there that knows me, I don’t pay much attention. But I hear something about Linnie again so I turn around and here’s a very pretty lady smiling at me. It’s a Dis-er!!!

She recognized us from the boards and she has a secret, but I won’t tell what it is!! Her name is Ice Skate Jen. We chat for a bit, she’s very nice!! My first Dis Meet, even though it wasn’t planned. It was just so neat to meet her and talk! She walked with us a ways, chatting.

So we take our starving crew to the Farmer’s Market and we all eat chicken strips. "What the heck a few carbs won't kill me," is my new thought after the gummy bears fiasco so I dig in.

We rode Mulholland Madness a few times and LeeAndra announces she wants to ride the big orange with the swings that go around. Buzz doesn’t do around and around rides. So I go with her. Buzz takes Trey to the boat to play. I loved that orange ride. It was little scary but fun!

Buzz was cracking up because my pony tail was swinging out straight behind me. Wish he would’ve gotten a picture, but he forgot to bring the camera charger with him and the camera’s light was on red, which I’m guessing isn’t good. I told him to stop taking pictures on this day so we can save the battery for the character dinner, which he is going to go to!!

We go back toward the gate and go through a fun play area on the way. I wish we could’ve spent more time there, but we were all ready to go back. LeeAndra and I were going to go shopping and the boys were going back to the room. I can guess what Buzz had planned. Sleep.

But it was not to be. Our room was being cleaned. The maid said it’d be about a half hour. Buzz immediately started in about how he never gets maid service when he stays in hotels b/c then he can’t go back to his room when he wants to… etc. and so on and on and on….

So we headed downstairs to sit outside. This was not ok for Trey. He fell apart. We went and sat by the fireplace. Pretty soon, Buzz got up and left. He came back with wine! I love that man!! I’d never thought of having a wine to soothe my jangled nerves. I just hate it when Trey gets upset like that and can’t be reasoned with. I know he’s upset and mad, but if he could just understand what the problem was, it’d make things easier for everyone.

So we sat and drank wine. Sometimes it’s best to ignore Trey when he’s being difficult so we did and pretty soon he was better-still upset, but not as mad. Buzz continued his soliloquy about how he never gets maid service when he travels and why and how come and how bad it was and that he doesn’t like maid service etc. Ahhh, wine, the healer of all ills and annoyances. Including Buzz. My biggest annoyance at that time!

Coming Up: Shopping and Sleeping-Are We That Predictable??

I'll tell this story only it's kind of embarrassing. A few years ago, I put the kids to bed, then took a bath. I was getting out and had bent down to get my towel when LeeAndra snuck in the bathroom and said, "Wow Mom!! You gotta big butt!!" She said it all shocked-like too. She was pretty horrified at the size of my rear!

And I'm glad that the wine helped Trey out ... I mean you out with Trey. Funny how ½ hour can be so long sometimes and so short others!

Me too-it's a ride! Who knew! You know at the fair how they have those swings that go around and it lifts you up? It's like one of those, only higher and inside an orange.

You know, I can't remember what that appetizer was so I don't think I posted what it was. Buzz'll know. He's got a great memory for food.

Thanks for the hug. I'm a little nervous now. My mom is driving me tomorow while Buzz takes care of the kids. She's so funny-that might calm me down some. I hope everything turns out ok. The surgery place called today to get some info and she asked me why they requested for me to have a pain pump. Uh, maybe for pain? How should I know? I didn't write the orders.

Anyway, then I started thinking about it. Pain. Pain. Pain. I had to go to my happy place-Walt Disney World.
