Alison...hope you enjoy the recipes and that things relax for you and Fran.
Nan...nothing but hugs girlfriend. Nothing but hugs.
I have no advice...again I want to reiterate that I hope you find this a safe place to vent...it's important! And if you need someone to just be angry with you...I'm your girl!

My niece Debbie is the best pet owner that I know with the exception of her Mom. She had her Otto, spoiled beagle extraordinaire but after having been broken into several times decided she needed a big dog. She went to the pet adoption sites online and found a pit bull big dog mix but was turned down. Why you ask? Because she did not own her own home. What if she needed to move? So she got paperwork signed by Gail and Mike, who owned the home.that they would never have issues with the dog,. deb was there for as long as she wanted.....problem solved. Nope. SO her vet sent a letter stating that he would personally vouch for Deb and her ability to care for this pet. Still no. Deb said forget it, went to the pound and got Jaxon, the most pitiful abused abandoned pit mix you could imagine. I believe no one but Debbie would have invested the time and energy into rehabilitating this dog so it was good for him and her as well. By now the first pet people have realized the error of their ways and repeatedly contacted Debbie to take their dog but she had already committed to Jax.

If not, let me know and I'll post it.
